Indaba Valentine’s dinner, not to be repeated
14th February 2025 A Valentine’s dinner, not to be repeated …
In accordance with the Epsom Restaurant’s Valentine special, it was stated that arrival was 17:30 to – 18:00 but as we had to wait for everybody’s arrival, the Starter was eventually served just after 19:00, not acceptable. The welcome was intended to include bubbly and canapés, but the canapés were replaced by a Rose. The Starter was supposed to consist of a Cheese platter with Dips, however no Dips were served but replaced by condiments. We had ordered our choice of main course, but the waitress had forgotten about us. The Rib Eye was very tuff and the Broccoli undercooked. The desert was the only good part of the course. The serving of the meals felt like mass service. My husband did enjoy the wine pairing. However, all in all an experience not to be repeated, as it was very disappointing.
