SO the big day. 2026 Matrics at Curro Sagewood have their matric dance. I believe the food was ok................ BUT BUT BUT for R2500 (partner included) they got ONE yes ONE, let me repeat, ONE DRINK. ONE DRINK????????????????? YES, ONE DRINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW guys, you should be ashamed and disgusted with yourself. 3 drinks would have been fair, ONE!!! REALLY??????would have been a better deal at the spur. Had i know i would have sent them with a cooler bag.

I cancelled my booking on 2 February (Gin School booking) and was asked to submit the required paperwork, which I sent promptly and in full. Unfortunately, I did not receive any written confirmation outlining the next steps or the expected turnaround time for my refund. I had to personally follow up by phone to confirm whether my email and documents had been received, which Olga confirmed. Since then, I have received no written updates regarding the progress of my refund. I have had to repeatedly call and follow up myself, without any proactive communication from your side. As of today, more than two weeks later, I still have not received my refund or a clear indication of when it will be processed. This experience has been very disappointing. Customers should not have to continuously chase updates for refunds, nor should the expected turnaround time be unclear. I am only still following up because I want my money but otherwise never again.

This is actually sad because I have received good service a couple of times. I made a booking for conference and accommodation and changed dates on Monday to the following week. Today when I reconfirm the dates again, the sales person asked me fill in the function sheet which I told her I will do later today as someone if going to pay tomorrow for the booking. At 15:00 same day I receive an email it’s fully booked can we look at other dates. When I call I get an attitude from the sales lady asking me who confirmed my dates were available. I proceeded to tell her that I had sent this to her on email on Monday which I still forward it to her and she says she can’t see it. Now, I need to scramble to find a place because my date change request was not done in time. I have people fly in with no accommodation on top of that. No care at all, dissapointing service.

We recently booked at Indaba chef boma for lunch and paid online on the 7th Sept to celebrate a birthday lunch on Monday the 8th sept. Monday morning around past 8am we received a call that our lunched has been cancelled as it's only 3 of us who booked. We were so disappointed as we had already planned our day. They asked us to come for dinner but due to work schedule we couldn't accept the offer instead we asked for refund as it's them who cancelled on us. I have been calling asking for refund but am being sent pillar to post from Surprise to Richard the manager been promised your refund will be processed Mon n Monday passes and today it's end of month still no refund. Now I want to report them to Consumer Protection Act. I will never let this slide paying a R1100 and being told your appointment is called in less than 48hours it's ridiculous. Customer service is baàaaad I will not recommend this to anyone. They don't value their customers .

Indaba hotel could have been so good, but unfortunately certain things has caused for me to never return again. I accidentally spilled some drops of sauce on the floor while dishing up breakfast, I told the servant and ask for a serviette to clean it, she gave me toilet paper to clean it my self and said next time I didn’t need to bother her, there is serviettes in the corner that I can get myself, I don’t mind cleaning and I did clean it to prevent anyone from stepping on it or sliding on it, but any good restuarant / hotel would have quickly mopped it up and not let the client pick it up while standing with their plate of food. Just to top it up, all food was cold, only thing that was warm, was the eggs that were made in front of you. At dinner I had to take my empty plates to the waiter as she was collecting empty plates on tables around me but continuously neglected to take mine. Dinner is from 18:00 to 21:30 at 20:00 there where no more lamb chops and upon request they just said sorry there is nothing left pick something else, although its served as part off the buffet. My room had coffee and sugar for the day, next day it was not replaced so seems like 4 sugars must last me for a 3 day stay. I have to say the receptionist and the driver that drove me to the restuarant was very nice, but Indaba will not see me again!

Indaba hotel could have been so good, but unfortunately certain things has caused for me to never return again. I checked in yesterday afternoon and i was given room 520. My room had no phone or remote to the television. I could not contact reception or ask for help. I called their landline from my cellphone and only was answered after 15minutes. After 30minutes, i still had not received any assistance and the phone was not being answered once again. I walked all the way to reception to go find help. Only to find the 2 gentlemen at reception unoccupied, hotel lobby empty and quiet. So what could be the reason for non-assistance or answering of phones form 5:30pm till 6:15pm..... I was so disappointed in the 2 gentlemen's service. And the high regard i usually have for the facility totally diminished!!!

14th February 2025 A Valentine’s dinner, not to be repeated … In accordance with the Epsom Restaurant’s Valentine special, it was stated that arrival was 17:30 to – 18:00 but as we had to wait for everybody’s arrival, the Starter was eventually served just after 19:00, not acceptable. The welcome was intended to include bubbly and canapés, but the canapés were replaced by a Rose. The Starter was supposed to consist of a Cheese platter with Dips, however no Dips were served but replaced by condiments. We had ordered our choice of main course, but the waitress had forgotten about us. The Rib Eye was very tuff and the Broccoli undercooked. The desert was the only good part of the course. The serving of the meals felt like mass service. My husband did enjoy the wine pairing. However, all in all an experience not to be repeated, as it was very disappointing.

I queries this with Booking.com which I’m not getting any joy, I’m told they have to query this with you which they did but you are not giving feedback.
