The Indaba Hotel Matric Dance ****
SO the big day. 2026 Matrics at Curro Sagewood have their matric dance. I believe the food was ok................
BUT BUT BUT for R2500 (partner included) they got ONE yes ONE, let me repeat, ONE DRINK. ONE DRINK?????????????????
YES, ONE DRINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW guys, you should be ashamed and disgusted with yourself. 3 drinks would have been fair, ONE!!! REALLY??????would have been a better deal at the spur.
Had i know i would have sent them with a cooler bag.

27 Mar 2026, 07:59Thank you for your feedback and glad that the Curro Sagewood Matrics enjoyed the event at Indaba Hotel Fourways last night - always a special occasion to celebrate the culmination of the school careeer.
Disappointed by your feedback on the beverage included and please allow me to clarify as follows:
Matric Dance Menu is charged @ R545 per person and includes:
in addition to this, Curro Sagewood also paid for2 soft drink per person - this was served on drinks order to tables by waiter staff.
Events like this are costly as schools also needs to pay for decor, entertainment etc so i am unable to comment on the price per couple charged by the school as we are not privy to this information as the venue supplier. I do believe we offer excellent value for money, and this is why we are such a popular Matric Dance Venue. If you are unhappy with the costs charged by the school, please could you take it up with the school body directly.

- Matric Dance Buffet Menu
- Jugs of juice on table
- Tables, Chairs, White Table clothes, White serviettes, Crockery, Cutlery, Glassware & Staffing for event
in addition to this, Curro Sagewood also paid for2 soft drink per person - this was served on drinks order to tables by waiter staff.

27 Mar 2026, 08:25many have said it was one... maybe rationed - on the sly? also the drinks were not even cold... maybe loadshedding? however R545/p MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE - i think somewhere the parents were diddled. however, i will take that up with the school. I have been to Indaba many times and unfortunately this was not good to hear when i spoke to my daughter, her BF and a couple other kids, NOT many so i can't say 50 kids.
