I have left 3 requests for help telephonically. I logged a call request on their internet log page. Noone follows up or returns your calls and this morning no one even answers the office line. No End of the month, their debits are definitely on time, but no service is provided at all

****tastic customer service Rigid debt order dates Not abiding to the contract It all started when the debit order bounced due to insufficient funds. Now I had tried to change my debit order date to the day after my salary comes in. This was not allowed due to some ******* policy. Anyway, the bank charged me a fee for the insufficient funds as they do, but then ibits charged me a R95 rejection fee which isn’t mentioned anywhere in the contract. In fact, this is what the contract says: Further, if there are insufficient funds in the nominated account to meet the obligation, you are entitled to track my account and re-present the instruction for payment as soon as sufficient funds are available in my account. ibits then tried to put the debit order through the day after and it bounced yet again. No rejection fee this time. No. They went and suspended my internet services and forced me to pay the monthly fee plus the R95 rejection fee otherwise the services wouldn’t be returned. I sent an email with regards to this whole situation and waited for 3 days and still no reply. I got fed up and phoned the accounts department. No answer. I eventually just called customer support and someone answered. I asked my question as was told by the ibits operator that she will go and ask the accounts department what’s going on and get back to me. She hung up on me as soon as she said this. Not long thereafter I get a rather snotty email from the accounts department saying: As per contract signed your connection must be paid between the 1st - 3rd of every month, after this admin fees can/will be applicable. I immediately rep**** to that email and am still waiting for a reply

Hellopeter should have Stars with Minus, because 1 Star is too much for this "provider". So paying a **** load of money for a so called Uncapped line, but its capped. Check the speeds with speed test and You get way less than You pay for. Even het our work sniffer on the line to check traffic and speed, still he same. So MR Wiehan Johan Möller, Don't try and Talk Bul**** blaming Me using the wrong tools to check the speed. And Thanks, Yes I will take my business elsewhere where someone cares about Service Delivery. Maybe You take a Dictionary and Go look up the definition of Service Delivery!!!

My review is against the "helpline" and "support sms line". Was supposed to have online meetings yesterday evening and my internet failed to deliver - absolutely not internet access. It was at 18:00pm. I tried phoning the number provided and texted the sms support line, but nobody rep**** or acknowledged the messages that were sent. I obtained a contact number - personal cellphone number of a person who assisted me... and only then did I receive a text message from their system with username and password with a message stating confirm the PPoE number. I am not a tech-savvy person, and to expect a user to instinctively know what to do with this useless information is unfair and unrealistic. The person that phoned be this morning saying that she did email me the support pack in March 2023 suggested that I should know all of this as this was sent. Isn't that why I pay Ibits? Why should I now suddenly know all of this when I have a support sms line to my disposal?? oh! right, that's because the sms support lie is useless in my opinion. I will email you a support pack of my work - which you have no knowledge of or don't work with in line every day, and then I will expect you to understand and know what to do in almost a years time when something goes wrong... then I will also tell you that I sent you the support pack almost a year ago and expect my customer to understand and know what to do when I send you random codes and names. Nobody responded to my inquiries when it was needed and only when I started getting desperate and got hold of a person's PERSONAL number, only then did you respond and act as if I should have known all of this. SO if I did not happen to get hold of someone, Ibits would not have bothered responding. Frustrating and unrealistic. And this is not the first time that the sms number users did not respond.

The most helpful and friendly staff, if the person you speak to, can not assist you, they call you back within 10 minutes with someone that can solve your problem. I am a very happy customer, and will recommend them to everybody out there.

If you want a picture that speaks 1,000 words look at the speedtest I conducted today on a 30mbps line that I get from iBits. 1mbps on a 30mbps that I pay for. This picture sums iBits up in their entirety. I have more downtime to what I have uptime and when I do have connection I never get the speeds I pay for! Honestly people don’t waste your time with this company! The kicker is that after well over a year of complaining about their shocking speeds (we live on a farm so are limited) I get told today by their Director/ CTO that they would no longer allow or “entertain” any further complains on their poor service. and if I didn’t like it I should stop using them! Well done Wiehan Johan Möller you are a shining example of the non existent customer service you provide to your customers! If you have had poor service from iBits don’t wait almost two years for their Director to contact you and tell you they don’t care, you can email him on [email protected] and tell him exactly how pathetic their company is! If you want a company that will look after you contact Allen from Lomoto on +27 (73) 662-7829 they actually care about their customers and highly suggest you give iBits the middle finger. Here’s to seeing them closing their doors!
