I recently purchased dog food and only half of the tin was filled with meat and the rest was pure liquid. I contacted Husky to advise them of the quality issue, send video's and pictures. The reply I received after answering various questions and following up as they didn't come back to me with a response was: "The ratio is correct according to our systems." (Summarized). This is a pathetic response to a customer complaint. You can be sure I will no longer support the Husky pet food range.,

⚠️ Extremely Disappointed in Husky Pet Food Quality ⚠️ I am a long-time customer of Husky Petfood and purchase at least 10 cans of their dog food every month. Unfortunately, I’ve now had a SECOND serious quality issue—and I’ve had enough. Recently, I opened a can of their “Homestyle Chicken, Vegetables & Barley” and found what appears to be white mould growing inside the food. This is completely unacceptable and poses a serious health risk to pets. What makes this worse is that this is NOT the first time. About 2 years ago, I found a piece of green rubber inside one of their cans. I reported it back then, but received no proper reassurance or resolution. For the price we pay, this level of quality control failure is shocking. As pet owners, we trust these brands to provide safe food for our animals—and Husky has clearly failed. I have contacted the company again, but given my previous experience, I am not hopeful. ❌ I will be switching to another brand ❌ I will NOT be supporting Husky going forward I hope this serves as a warning to other pet owners—please check your pet’s food carefully.

We have bought Husky Pet tin food for many years. Our Labrador is now 8 years old and enjoyed this pet food over all these years. Recently we bought tins which are now apparently a new recipe. Our dog started to have a running tummy and at one stage became very lethargic. We immediately stopped giving the Husky tin food and changed dog pallets as well. She recovered well until someone in our household gave her the Husky tin food again. Her tummy immediately got upset and started to become running again. We reported this on the Bob Martin website on 9/2/2026 with reference no W10927. As yet no response received.

I bought a tin of Smokey Joe dog food (big one) for my dogs. When I opened it, half the tin was full of oil - I could not give that to my dogs. I contacted them on 4 August 2024 - they rep**** on 26 Aug, 27 Aug and 5 September with: "we are investigating". What is there to investigate??????? I bought the dog food (that is quite expensive!) and I attached pictures with my mails - what is there to investigate for more than 2 months already with no replies or outcome????

I have to say after the yellow tin chunky was meatloaf. I am after a month still having the same problem with this product not been fixed. Should I rather change to another brand where I am sure of IF IT SAYS CHUNKY, it is chunky. Meatloaf is usually cheaper and now we will be paying for Chunky but finding Meatloaf in the tin every time. My dog and I am still not happy. Should we just in future stop buying the YELLOW tin. Will this be fixed or not?

I purchased Husky Chunky (as clearly indicated on the can) from Checkers and when opened found it was a minced mush. I sent an email to [email protected] on 12/12 and got a read receipt with no reply. I then logged a complaint on the Bob Martin Website (who are the band owners of Husky), I did this on 13/12 and received an automated response with a reference of W1569 but no further responses since then. On 18/12 I sent them a message on Facebook, only to have them respond and request what the problem was and to provide more info! What's the point of logging a complaint when I need to repeat myself all over again? I guess the solution is to vote with my money and change to a brand that actually cares about customer service and doesn't simply print it onto their tins!
