Young inexperienced and no customer service
.We bought more than R300 worth of hot dogs and chips from the food truck just outside Builders Warehouse Cape Gate. There were two girls helping us. It wasn't busy despite it being lunch time. We noticed the younger lounging outside and she was quickly called in when we arrived. We must have disturbed her sleep. Anyway she help another customer and got his order wrong. Then it was our turn. We wanted two sauces on and she obliged. Suddenly she started sighing and became frustrated. We didn't know why. We tried to calm her down and asked that she just takes a quick breath and relax. She was in a different state of mind. Didn't want to speak or help us further. We ask the older girl to intervene, it helps somewhat. We are not entirely sure why she reacted that way but staff are supposed to be kind helpful and friendly at all times no matter who upset your day. So that's the last time we support that food truck. We call on the owners to educate the staff especially the young school going ones or school leavers. It is very upsetting to go through such an experience.

food poison
entire family got Food poisoning at the Makro amanzimtoti branch . called the head office and was given a durban reps number , made my complaint and was told they will get back to me . 2 weeks later and not even so much as a phone call .

Incompetent staff
I made a purchase from your stand outside Makro Cornubia on Saturday. Your man working the till had no idea what he was doing. he swiped my card twice my pin was entered twice and both times i was advised that the transaction did not go through, this despite the machine asking whether we want a receipt. he still insisted the transaction didn't go through, so we paid cash and left. today i see that my bank account was double debited for the R95 transaction. this is unacceptable. please refund me my R190!!

<p>Just purchased Big Cheese Hotdog at BP Airport Cape Town....what a let down they used to be great now its 14cm long half the packet it comes in and they blame it on the rolls...called there customer line cause there web site is under construction and no one answers on +27 12 ********** . Proudly packaged Londen to New York. Really only thing that is the same is the Price 22.95 . What a rip off </p> <p> </p>

Poor service
<p>Hot dog cafe at Emperors place really provides pathetic service. From the entire menu they only have 1 hot dog and 2 pies. They were not prepared to make anything for us, needless to say that we went there during their hours of operation. Will never go back!</p>

Overpriced extremely low quality food
<p>I decided to try hot dog cafe. The hot dog cafe at builders warehouse Corner Hendrik Potgieter and Jim Fouche. The staff are not nice. I tried a wors roll, it costs R34, it tasted like what heavily processed meat taste like, looked rubbery and very poor quality. Will never support these franchises again. Felt nauseus after eating that stuff, if you care about your health, i would recommend you avoid Hot Dog Cafe's and London Pie altogether.</p>
