I purchased school uniform worth R9000 and including a tracksuit, the top of the tracksuit had a factory fault, I had marked the tracktop because I couldn’t have anticipated that it would be faulty as I believe they check their staff before packaging them, I returned it and they are saying they can’t take it back because I have marked it, it beats me how will my child wear a faulty item, the sad part is that they are the only supplier of Curro school wear, I’m so disappointed. I would understand if they refused to take it back because it’s SIZE(that would have been negligence on my side) but the FACTORY FAULT??? Item is not wearable.

Appalling service. Seldom have stock available in the correct sizes. Today they sent the incorrect size and now demand R180 be paid by me to courier back THEIR mistake. They will then charge another courier fee for whenever the correct size does eventually arrive (probably by the time my daughter has finished matric in 2030), and for an item that overall costs less than these two courier fees! The Competition Commission needs to get involved again.

I am highly disappointed in how Grit Procurement are doing things. My daughter is starting Grade 1 today and they failed to deliver her school uniform on time. Instead they are making excuses saying that their courier company have my address incorrectly entered on their system. They failed to call and communicate that, instead they found it to fit to keep my parcel with them. This is so disheartening, my daughter DID NOT go to her first day of school.

I ordered a jacket for my daughter on the 20th of May. Received the order my daughter fitted it, it was too big, immediately put it back in to the bag staple it together with the return form a day later. A week later they come back saying they won't be accepting the return as item has stains on it. I tell them my daughter never used that jacket, they can even request footage from the school. It it has stains it came like that. Sadly I have no way of proving that on my side. Who would think a new item is dirty and take pictures??? Today marks 4 weeks with no communication, my daughter has no winter uniform in this cold. When I call the reception Mirranda does not take my calls anymore and never replies to my emails. I posted a review on their page today , and guess what they further went on to say the tags were also removed, they keep coming up with resoans not to return the order.

This is Curro's only supplier of school clothes. There is another store in Pretoria which is too far to travel. I've heard countless complaints about Grit from other parents. After waiting for two months for stock, I ordered items as per their recommended measurements (as they don't have any "normal" sizes listed) - two of the items ordered are way to small. To log a return, you, as the customer has to arrange for a courier to collect, at your own cost! After complaining I'm told "Please attach a clear photo or details of the body measurements you took before placing the order" Are you asking me to send proof of you measuring my child?? Are you insane?? I will be ordering elsewhere and get the school logo embroidered, submit complaints to Curro and get other parents to do the same. I will make sure they are no longer the sole supplier of uniforms. I will be reaching out to the Competition Commission as well.

I got good service at first from Lindiwe Mahlangu , until there was a mix up they received my payment of R6782.79 on the 03rd of Jan twice and they asked for bank statement to clarify which i submitted and i dealt with Schalk Buys who asked for my banking details but nothing was refunded since. I spoke to Jenny Raw who advised this was sent to the relevant ppl, till now no one is responding to my mails. can Curro intervene .

Returns was send back to GRIT on the 4th Jan 2022 till today I haven't received voucher so that I can order the correct size. This is frustrating because every time when I query with them, they are saying, they are waiting for their warehouse. My child doesn't have all uniform because of their poor service.
