We had to visit the Ampath Laboratory last Saturday - the state of the floors and general cleanliness was disgusting. Spilt food on the floor, marks all over. It is obvious that this office had not been cleaned for days. When I asked the staff, they informed me that the cleaning staff are contracted to the Glynwood;. I took photos of the floor becuase it was so bad.

I went in for a day procedure- I was placed in Maternity ward, on coming out of surgery I asked the nurse please I need a cup of coffee, they put the blood pressure on me and it was beeeeping continuously because my blood pressure was low, I was left to my own devices still waiting for my coffee. Yet I see the invoice from Glynwood was R20 000 for one day. Thank you to Wiesenhof still in my surgical gown and a gown over I went with my drip and had the best cup of coffee and cheese cake. when I went back to my room there was food obviously not eaten and I am still awaiting something to drink worse exeperience ever stay away!!! The nurses are all on there cell phones and talking to one another loud I did record it- they ignored my beeping machine! Felt like a Government hospital Not value for moneyh at all

My experience at Life Glynnwood Hospital was exceptional from beginning to end. Bianca in Casualty was an absolute angel, going above and beyond to assist us with the medical aid complications and handling the situation with compassion, patience, and professionalism. In the general ward, Sister R. Mdluli provided care that was not only friendly and efficient, but deeply sincere — she made me feel supported and cared for every single moment she was on duty. Dr Clifford was equally outstanding; his expertise, calm manner, and genuine dedication make him the best doctor I have ever dealt with, and I will never trust another general surgeon the way I trust him. Every member of staff contributed to an incredible experience — from nurses and cleaning staff to security and even the coffee shop team — all greeting with warmth and kindness. Life Glynnwood Hospital is truly fortunate to have such remarkable people who turn a stressful time into a comforting, positive experience.

This is absolutely the word emergency unit that I have ever seen, first of all medical aid pays but not for the doctor ,been here since 23H40 and it is now 03H00 with a possible inflamed appendix, what is the use it is called an emergency unit if there is *********** doctors and no urgency from them whatsoever. Would expect this from a public hospital not one where you have to pay R1200 upfront just to see the doctor

Horrible service at the emergency ward ,waited for 3 hrs with a sick patient , got no help and other patients went in before us . Private hospitals are worse then government hospitals. People are paying so much for no treatment
