After a several times trying to call food *****s market Fourways without being answered to check if I didn't leave a parcel I went to pickup at mall before going to their store, it was finally answered over the weekend by a lady who is very poor on customer service, after not being able to provide her with the til number, she kinda of insinuated that she cannot be able to assist me, which caught me by surprise, asking for her name, she reluctantly said it was Elsie, and asking for her surname and she refused to provide, and that left me asking myself questions about how is staff trained on customer care, I was really hoping that I will deal with someone who is professional and willing to assist, I was very disappointed 😞

I would like to thank the baker lady. 2wks ago I bought donuts from food*****s fourways mall for the first time.Omg they were so rubbery none of us could even bite through it what a first time experience. I made up my mind to never purchase donuts from them again at least the birds had a party. A week later I was back there & buying portuguese rolls & mentioned to the lady at the rolls counter she advised me to talk to the baker so I went to ber she was shocked offered me to try one that was freahly baked I was hesitant, but thought ok & was pleasantly surprised it was easy to bite through & fresh. She offered to replace the dozen donuts at no cost to me I said not neccessary, but she insisted & I was grateful for that. Thank you baker lady I appreciate & will surely buy again. Thats excellent service

Buying Avocados at the Food *****'s Market in New Market Mall has become a serious problem. You're lucky to find two that are edible in a pack of five. Twice in a row, this has happened to me.

I am a huge fan and long time customer of FLM BUT yesterday I bought a 1L box of crisp lite white wine from them. When opening I noticed it was nearly 3 years old and when pouring it looks like whiskey ans extremely sour. Is this even legal?

Poor quality merchandise being sold. Did bulk shopping on 13th May and was totally disgusted with the quality of the produce at Hillfox branch. Complained to them immediately and they didn't even have the decency to respond or acknowledge my complaint. 1. The corn was just a cob with hardly any kernels on it. It was in a bag so couldn't see the problem 2. I bought 4kg of tomatoes to make tomato sauce. What a waste, more than half the tomatoes were mushy and you could get the sour smell of tomatoes 3. The soup veg was definitely lying too long in the fridge as they also smelt sour. 4. Not to mention the ****ins on special. When the assistant picked up the ****ins, they were already broken. I moved away to get other items, not expecting her to put damaged items into the box but to my horror when I got home, I found the broken ones in the box. Its a real pity I couldn't capture the smell of the tomatoes and soup veg. I've had previous poor quality items from the store but never had such a bad experience where I had so many items that were very poor quality and 3 of them literally not deserving of consumption. My worst shopping experience at a FLM store.

I went to Food *****s Mooderfontein on Friday the 15th of May, I wanted to purchase 48 hot dog rolls. I was told only special orders are taken for that number of rolls. They refused to sell me 48 and I was told they can only give me 24. I asked if I could pay, leave the store and come back the manager and the bakery stuff still refused. I was inconvenienced as I was purchasing those for the office. I ended up leaving everything else I in my basket and went to Checkers in the Mall and I wasnt given any hassle. It seems I will experience bad service from Moddefontein food *****s.

I bought some packed oxtail at Sandown Food *****s Market. When we got home,found the oxtail rotten. This is not the first time we have experienced rotten meat from various FLMs, where the labelled use by date is still in the future. FLM are selling rotten meat. I will never set my foot in any of the stores again

Im really disappointed and how FLM has handle my query and to think im not doing this for me but your suffering employees who stand all day at tills at the Castle gate store and i have reported this they have stopped replying to my emails which is kind of sad because who works standing the whole day and they tell me it is efficient but on quiet periods where is the efficiency there?
