Last Sunday the wife and I mounted our 15 year old, 90 000 km, BMW 1200 GS for a breakfast run from Pretoria to Hartebee****rt. Then a slight fuel leak developed, so we scratched breakfast, and went home. Booked the bike in on Monday at BMW Motorrad, Centurion, who determine that this was a 2020 Factory Recall and BMW Germany authorised the fitting of a replacement fuel pump free of charge. Think of that, an expensive fuel pump replaced free of charge, on a 15 year old, well used bike, showing some battle scars, with 90 000km on the clock, 6 years after the factory recall. Now that is what I call service! Thank you BMW Motorrad Centurion and BMW Motorrad Germany

Had another pleasant experience at the motorcycle department at Donford BMW. Damian and the team went above and beyond in assisting me with my motorcycle. I've been a loyal client for the past 15 years and have never had bad service.

I recently managed to strip my BMW f800GS motorcycle’s sump plug. I contacted Donford BMW Stellenbosch motorcycle spares department, where I was put in contact with a gentleman named Ruhan Henegan. Ruhan not only got hold of the part in short time, but also had the part dropped off an agreed location. By assisting me with a little problem, he solved a big problem for me. This is the kind of employees that makes Donford Stellenbosch awesome to deal with.

I recently managed to strip my BMW f800GS motorcycle’s sump plug. I contacted Donford BMW Stellenbosch motorcycle spares department, where I was put in contact with a gentleman named Ruhan Henegan. Ruhan not only got hold of the part in short time, but also had the part dropped off an agreed location. By assisting me with a little problem, he solved a big problem for me. I recently visited South Africa from Australia due to my mother's passing. Whilst there and days after the funeral, I went to a mall just opposite this business. I had hired a car...just a simple Toyota. Upon entering I was greeted by what seemed to be the only black sales person. I did not mind chatting to him. I am in the market for a car for when i retire in SA so I wanted to test drive a car that I really liked. Apparently, they could not find the keys to this car anywhere however it was moved outside just a couple of hours before...he must've looked for the keys for over an hour. I chose a different car? Same deal, no keys which led me to believe that this was done on purpose. I was obviously not impressed with the situation as I know their cars sleep inside and someone must have had the keys...I tend to think that I do not look like a BMW purchaser, you know the shoes, watch, mobile and top of the range hired car etc...I am just a plane guy however I do own a brand new BMW X5 30D Msport with a few added options which I purchased in Australia. I have owned BMW'S for the past 25 years and bought them brand new. I can only assume the lost keys was due to me not fitting their profile. I will not be purchasing a car from them and rather look at taking my business and hard earned money elsewhere where better honest service is met by me. Sis I say to this business. I am better off going to BMW Somerset West where I bought my cars before, much better service and no judging of how you look.

Thanks to Leon, Trevor and Helen. My advice to buyers. Its not only the purchase. It's the long term relationship which gets results.... Both ways. I have been a Donford client for well over a decade. Consistency pays dividends.

My car is out of its service plan, which means I don’t have to go to BMW anymore to service my car; however, I still make use of BMW services due to the trust I once had in BMW. Nonetheless, this was the worst service I had ever experienced in 10 years of driving a BMW. One would think the highly regarded BMW would provide better service, but this definitely was not the case. I took my car to them for a service and told them about a faulty part on my car. Collected my car after the service only to see they had not fixed the faulty part which they explicitly told me they had fixed. I had to take my car back to the dealership twice to get it fixed after that, which also incurred significant additional expenses as they then told me they had to order new parts. During this process they also damaged my car, leaving scratches on my car in the area where they worked along with patches where the paint was completely off. At first they denied that it was them but then agreed to have it fixed at a panel beater. It took another 6 weeks of back and forth to get them to actually fix the damage on my car, during which they also had to twice drive my car to a panel beater in Somerset West on my expense. In the end they paid for the damage and fixed it, but it was by far the worst service I had ever received. I definitely would not recommend taking a vehicle there for a service.

Give credit where credit is due... I was never a big BMW fan until I got my F800GSA late last year. Up to today I always wondered what makes BMW riders tick??? My bike went in for a service today (the first one I took it in for) and I must admit - now I know why so many people ride BMW's. It's not that they're versatile, not that they are SUPER COOL bikes, not that BMW riders have a statement to make (or so they say)... NO, no, no! It's because the moment you set foot in BMW Motorrad Stellenbosch by Donford's front door, you're a KING! You are treated as if you're their only customer and everything depends on how YOU feel. The service is exceptional, professional, friendly, courteous... I'm running out of ways to explain how good my experience at BMW Motorrad Stellenbosch by Donford was. To the DP and staff - WELL DONE!!! Your service, professionalism, and how you make your customers feel are beyond exceptional. You will see me for many years and I hope to buy a lot more bikes from BMW Motorrad Stellenbosch by Donford. Thank you for proving that there are still businesses that value their customers and who offer exceptional service!
