Dear Disney+ South Africa Support Team, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a subscription labeled “Disney+ Mobile 1 Month On Us” that has been linked to my mobile account. I want to make it clear that I did not sign up for this service. Despite this, an amount of R19 was deducted from my account, which I consider unauthorized. When I contacted my service provider (MTN), I requested confirmation of when and how this subscription was activated. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide this information. I was also promised contact details to escalate this matter directly with Disney+ Mobile, but I have not received any follow-up. Furthermore, when I attempted to cancel this subscription—which I never authorized—I was informed that it cannot be cancelled. This is extremely concerning and unacceptable. I am very disappointed in how this matter has been handled and the lack of transparency around this subscription. I request the following: Immediate cancellation of this subscription A full refund of the R19 deducted A clear explanation of how this subscription was activated without my consent If this matter is not resolved urgently, I will consider escalating it further and reviewing my use of related services. I trust that this issue will be treated with urgency and professionalism.

I’ve been having constant problems with the Disney+ app. Not only can I not watch any of the content I’ve downloaded, which defeats the whole purpose of downloading, but the app also buffers excessively even when streaming. This makes using Disney+ extremely frustrating, especially when trying to watch something offline or without interruptions. The app clearly needs major improvements to make downloads functional and streaming smooth. Overall, very disappointed with the experience.

I signed up for the R49 per month disney plus promotion. The debit order went out fine for two months but this month Disney plus claims to have tried to debit my account 3 times and now canceled my subscription saying that the transactions declined and there was probably no funds available. There was more than enough funds in my account and I now checked with my bank they have confirmed that there is no declined transactions on my transaction history and it would have show if it did decline.

I did not sign up for anything nor do i have child. But im getting emails saying new sign in. I take that my information is been leaked or used without any consent. Using disney plug server and name total *********. And will follow up with the legal action...

They dont even the single star. I am extremely disappointed with Disney Plus’ service. I have been waiting since the 2nd of August for a refund, and despite repeated assurances that it was “logged” and would take 7–10 days, nothing has been paid back. It has now been 20 days of chasing them, with excuse after excuse and no accountability. Even when I called the call centre, I was told there was no manager available to escalate my issue. This level of incompetence is unacceptable. Customers should not have to keep following up for money that rightfully belongs to them. I am disgusted by this service and have decided to cancel my entire subscription. Disney Plus has completely failed in customer care and professionalism.
