I have a customer that I do support for. Their Cape Town branch has been down for a week after a 50m fibre move in the same complex. Since the move, its gone from a working fibre to not working for over 7 days now. It is a shared service line, So DFA and Metro together supply the services. This morning, I logged a call on their online portals for feedback and all I got was an automated response but no updates. The link is still down. As an end user and the entity responsible for payment, we have no way or path to talk to the actual provider of the services. The Metro call log is all I have. Ticket 985990 and 988328, because theyare the receiver of the payments. The responce from DFA this morning: Dear Angus, Thank you for your email. We will attend to it as soon as possible. Sincerely, DFA The DFA circuit number is : DFA01-GFC21-0007146 To conclude, if you are going to ask them to move a fibre, make sure you have alternative connectivity for a period longer than 7 days, or you will lose customers, sales and money like we are doing now.

The worst customer service ever.Our WIFI has been down since Sunday.It is almost a week now.No response nor assistance from DFA.Their call Centre consultants are soo rude,I spoke to a lady called Lesedi Dikotope.10480274

Atrocious service from this company. We have 4 DFA fibre lines coming into Thornhill Manor Retirement village, Modderfontein and between them they have been down more often then not over the last few months. These lines have been reported numerous times with no results and are currently still down. Ref numbers, 11-18867, 11-18868, 11-18870 The service between Vumatel and DFA has pathetic to say the least !!!!

Our core fibre provider for Thornhill Manor Retirement Village where I live is DFA, for the last month most of our village has had no WiFi. As you can imagine most of us residing here rely on WiFi to keep in touch with family and for online services of various service providers. We have an excellent liaison person residing in our village who is very jacked up about fibre and not easily fooled by the gobblede**** we get fobbed off with and he is as exasperated as the rest of us by DFA's attitude. We are told technicians will be coming, they don't arrive, we are not important, businesses who are also "down" are more essential, we'll just have to wait...... and so on. We're all just about ready to tear our hair out. Perhaps if this non-service and attitude is highlighted we may get somewhere!!!

If you want to sign a contract with DFA and you fiber line is down at list 3 times a week... Go ahead ,however they will hold you to the contract for sure,you will be paying till the end of contract
