Unfair refusal of treatment
On the 12 November 2021, I had an Injury On Duty, ever since that day I have struggling to attain assistance. I work at Ekurhuleni East College Benoni Campus. I was treated at Glynnwood hospital. I was treated for a couple of sessions and was told they can’t do anything because this was supposed to be attended by a neurologist but they couldn’t refer me there because COID won’t pay for the neurologist. I was sent to a physiothe****** who explained that I had severe to mild concussion hence the dizziness and tipping over and falling. I went again to the hospital and was told I would get a call once they get the report from the occupational the******. Every time I went to get an appointment I was sent back with no appointment, meanwhile I am getting worse I’ve gone from being dizzy and having tremors. In the past six months I’ve been falling, having tremors sometime just to use my hand for work I have to use the non-dominant hand to perform my duties. Today I called the hospital to speak to the manager (white lady) and she said I must come to the hospital. I went I sat the from 9 until 13:30 when I asked how long must I seat there in pain and I only asked for one hour at work, when I got to the hospital triage was done, I filled the forms. I sat there like a stupid even the securities ask why I was still here, I answered I don’t know. I asked again the receptionist guy says yes, I always turn you back because there’s no appointment. He called the “manager” black lady who said she would make sure I’m not treated she the protect her receptionist. She took my file and first went to help her friend dressed in light brown track pants and went about her way and when she was done diddly darling, she told me the doctor closed the file and gave me a neurologist details, saying I defaulted on the 14/ 04/2022. My occupational therapy was in May 2022. DHET got the report at the end of Nov 2022. I was treated by Dr S Pretorius all along and the doctor who just closed the case without seeing me or understanding what’s going on, as I said I’ve been falling and was dizzy, so the doctors’ oaths don’t count life first. Here it was whatever. The doctor in attendance today was Glynnwood Trauma Drs Assoc practice number 1082787. The diagnosis still says persisting Dizziness and pain with no help. So it means my death or further deuteriation doesn’t matter to the commissioner because they said they got the advice from them. Referred to Dr Kerena Gengan so that the money can come from me, but I was injured at work, not horse playing I was doing my job now I must suffer financially and physically

As several calls speaking to Ms Mapiso and MR Tsiba they SAID systems off all the time i asked for the Comissioner for appointment they SAID they dont know who hê is or what his contact details is. Correctional Services said all documents were handed over to them in 2011/08/26 whereby i have the claim number whereby no compensation where paid at all none and therefore my docters had to admit another form in 2021 whereby 100% medical unfit. How is this possible who recieved the compensation then not me is this fraud again taking from people not paying compensation and al tough injury on duty young just get pensioen where is my salary then injury on duty? Seem a****elukfonds also paid out to which i dont know they pocket a lot of money seem clerck of court is waiting for me if they dont make their mistake right. DC MÛLLER 0849532583

We can't go a day by without our tablets
Today they had to deliver my medication by medipost which deliver it every month,but medipost let me know that they can't deliver it today because Compensation suster Morwesi Nhlapo stop their contract,and I had medicine just only for today and it is critical that I have to take it everyday,I phone suster Morwesi and she just tell me I must wait till Monday?they just cancel the contract and don't let us know what is going on,this is unacceptable and dangerous for our people who injury on duty,it remember me back were more then 100 disabled people died because of not worried of them,if something happened to me without my medication,then they had to explain,it's a really shame of the compensation,now I worry if they gonna get our tablets Monday otherwise I will go to media with this disaster

Disgusting
Absolutely disgusting, Companies pay you tons of money to cover their staff and due to your poor management surgeons refuse to operate on IOD patients cause you either dont pay them or you take up to 2 years or you pay them short. My husband's jaw was fractured whilst driving last week on nightshift cause someone roadside threw a brick through the wind screen and we have been sent from pillar to post for a week now to get an op done. Why is this the case when his company paid you guys a ton of money to cover his staff. Having a claim number means zero cause nobody will agree to do surgery so whats the point?

Do any actual human beings work at the Commissioner's office?! For the past four years, I have been trying to have a substantial payment allocated to my account so that I can receive a Letter of Good Standing. Emails remain unanswered and new claims cannot be processed because of my not being in good standing. Even our local Department of Labour is unable to supply me with details of an actual person at the Commissioner's office to whom I can address my problem. FRUSTRATION is not the word!
