I am writing this to warn other consumers about the absolute lack of accountability and competence at Boardmans. Boardmans delivered an incorrect coffee machine for my order and, despite clear photographic proof of the SKU/model mismatch, the issue has still not been resolved for over a month. Instead of arranging a straightforward collection and refund, I have been met with repeated responses about “internal investigations,” with no clear timeline or action taken. During this time, my funds were effectively tied up while I was left without the product I ordered. I have now had to lodge a formal dispute with the bank just to recover my funds. Pathetic service and a total breach of the CPA. Avoid this retailer at all costs.

The reference number 9000479149. On the 16-02-2026 I received my order however it was incomplete. I immediately emailed Boardmans and reported the matter. After that I have called in twice and emailed 3 twice but all I receive is ticket number are reference numbers, absolutely no customer service or care.[ Ticket: 1433530 ] Order Delivered | 7300200787

I purchased lamp shades on 19 December 2025. They were delivered damaged\broken on 22 December 2025. I was told by the delivery person to contact the customer care number to report the issue as he could not take the items back. I did this within minutes of receiving the broken items. I was then given a reference number and was told that I will be contacted. To date I have called the customer care number in excess of 8 times over this period. In addition, I sent two emails as well. I am then given a new reference number with each contact from my side and told that the matter has been escalated. To date I have not been contacted and keep being assured that the escalated matter will be looked into as the warehouse must contact me. We are now over a month from the date of the order being placed. As a first-time customer this is totally appalling as far as service goes and getting a resolution. Boardmans need to rectify this asap as money was spent only to receive broken items and then being promised to be contacted with no outcome thus far.

1st December 2025 I paid in full for a Duvet cover. After much chasing on the delivery on the 9Th December 2025 I reviewed a small box containing a set of Volkano headphones ordered through “ Incredible Connection “ ordered by someone living in a township in Boksburg when I live in CT. The small box has my name and address and a label “ From Boardmans” but clearly not To this day I still have nothing and absolutely nothing has been actioned regarding a replacement duvet cover or a refund , despite many many e mails and telephone calls It was then placed with the supervisor Louisa Baloyi, who was apologetic and that she would treat this as urgent .. still absolutely zero action or communication… I have now place this with the South Africa Consumer Complaints ..,both Boardmans and Incredible Connection now come under the umbrella of Pepkor.. so I will also post this on Pepkor…. I seen a recent post here involving Louisa Baloyi and non delivery of 2 beds from Russels ( also under Pepkor umbrella) so in short do not touch anything related to Pepkor … because everyone is blaming the “ Warehouse” but NOBODY is taking accountability and nothing is resolved .. sorry Boardmans … NEVER again wil I make a purchase from you

I bought a Kenwood blender on Black Friday, it was advertised as a glass jug but when I received it it was a Plastic jug. The moment I received the delivery, I checked it was incorrect and called to log a return. This was on 4 December 2025. I have had numerous emails and phone calls to get this item collected and it is now the 14th of January and still no one can confirm when this item will be collected and refunded to me. I even offered to send it back via courier to your warehouse and I was told that there is no returns process in place for Boardmans.
