Visited the lounge recently at King Shaka International Airport , Durban and I thoroughly enjoyed the gluten free items on the menu ! The mini gluten free quiche and mini pecan tarts were super delicious ! Thank you and well done !

What a terrible experience at the Bidvest Lounge at Cape Town International Airport, the front desk receptionist was extremely rude , the lounge was filthy, unhygienic and limited food options that were also very stale. This experience is terrible and has me even considering cancelling my account with Standard Bank as a Private Client and move to FNB instead because the quality and service of their lounge is exceptional.

What a terrible experience at the Bidvest Lounge at Cape Town International Airport, the front desk receptionist was extremely rude , the lounge was filthy, unhygienic and limited food options that were also very stale. This experience is terrible and has me even considering cancelling my account with Standard Bank as a Private Client and move to FNB instead because the quality and service of their lounge is exceptional.

I would like to report a negative experience at the Bidvest Premier Lounge at Cape Town Airport. A staff member, Ziyanda, was rude and disrespectful when I enquired about my voucher. Her tone was inappropriate and noticeably changed when addressing me, which I found unacceptable. I had alternative lounge access at FNB but chose your lounge, and I expected professional service. Please address this matter to ensure better customer treatment going forward. This Ziyanda attitude is only toward BLACK people as I was noticing her when I was approaching, the coloured lady next to her treated me very well. I don't expect to see Ziyanda, if she is there im not going in. This incident happened on Friday, 03/04/2026 at around 16:00.

Really awful, the guy who makes the coffee tells me there is no water so he can’t make coffee. 5 minutes later I see ladies walking away with coffee. I go up again stand in queue and as soon as it’s my turn he asks me to wait and wanders off to pack cool drinks in the fridge. Never did get the coffee. lol, guess he just didn’t like me. It’s a bit of a dump to be honest.

My review relates to the Bidvest lounges in Lanseria and Cape Town International Airports. I flew from Lanseria on a Sunday afternoon heading to Cape Town, stopped at the lounge, which is fairly clean - the menu included beef skewers, Asian chicken stir fry, rice, noodles as a main meal. I returned to Lanseria on the Monday and stopped at the Bidvest lounge at Cape Town International. The menu included beef skewers, Asian chicken stir fry, rice, noodles as a main meal. The lounge is quite unkept, dirty floors, dirty cutlery, dirty windows. A general lack of attention. I then replicated the above travel route a week later. The menus had not changed, the cleanliness in Cape Town left much to be desired, this time no sandwiches on offer and when I provided feedback, I was told, the menu changes every 6 months. With the quantum of people that pass through the lounge, perhaps a little more variety wouldn’t hurt and also keeping food covered in chafing dish. You can do better.

ABSA Bidvest Benefits **** I’m actually extremely disappointed with ABSA and their Bidvest Services. Recently, on the 5th of January I had taken my card to the Bidvest lounge and I was told that I would be able to enter and use my free benefits. Only to be sent an sms that they are charging R270 for the service ,claiming I used it outside of the benefit services. Even though the lounge states that you need to come 2 hours before the flight and I did. Further more,the Bidvest lounge assistants NEVER indicated that I would be charged R270 to sit in the lounge

What a bad experience to other lounges. How do you serve food that is supposed to be hot cold and no Microwave to warm your food. All other lounges have at least a microwave. Then you go to the bathroom and guess what no soap. I had to call someone to fill the soap. Bidvest never use to be like this very disappointed

Dear Bidvest Premier Lounge Management, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the service I received in relation to a missing wedding ring at the Bidvest Premier Lounge at OR Tambo International Airport. I would like to note that Bonisa was helpful and courteous in her interactions with me, and I appreciate her willingness to assist. However, I am deeply dissatisfied with how the matter was ultimately handled. When I returned and accessed the lounge to follow up on the incident, I met with Thabang and specifically asked him to help search for the ring at the chairs where my sister had been seated. We checked both chairs together. When I stood up and turned around, I noticed that there are two cameras clearly directed at those exact chairs where my sister had been sitting and where her wedding ring went missing. Despite this, neither Thabang nor Bonisa took the initiative to review the CCTV footage. Instead, the matter was dismissed with a simple apology and the explanation that the ring was not found and that nothing had been handed in. This response was inadequate, especially considering that the footage could clearly establish what happened and at what point, allowing the matter to be properly investigated and potentially resolved. A wedding ring is not a trivial item. I am extremely unhappy with the lack of urgency, accountability, and investigative effort shown in assisting my sister with recovering such a sentimental and valuable item. It felt far too easy to close the matter without making use of the available resources, particularly the CCTV footage. I expect this complaint to be taken seriously and would appreciate confirmation of who is handling this matter, as well as what steps will now be taken to investigate the incident properly.
