So high insight the service i got from Beachcomber SA was excellent. I cannot blame them for the Resort Experience I encountered. The discount price was pleasing, service was excellent and yes they do go the extra mile for their clients!! The resort Experience was awful, but no fault of Beachcomber SA. Shoddy service and the suites are extremely tired. The mattress was so old and collapsed after 3 attempts it was replaced with comfortable one. Thank you Kathy (Guest Relations) from Beachcomber SA. You certainly went the extra mile for us. Much appreciated!

Bad customer relations and awful hotel upgrade!!! A company to steer clear of. We booked and paid for our holiday only to be advised the Beachcomber Shandrani would be closed due to renovations. We were offered an upgrade to Trou Aux Biches Beachcomber which was a real let down. The mattress was completely worn and stained, after 3 attempts and being told the mattress they replaced our one with was from a more expensive room!!! We were stuck in the middle of the resort with no sea view, we could have been anywhere in the world for that matter. The rooms were totally tired and dull and gloomy. We were after a few days offered an upgrade to a villa. The bath plug didn't hold the water, the cupboards didn't open and the aircon in the 1 bedroom was leaking. The mattress was again worn through and aircon in the same room didn't work!!! The mattress was replaced. Ok so service... over an hour to wait to be served at the main bar, on more than 1 occasion!! Dietary food options for gluten intolerance was really a choice of pasta or nothing. Only gluten free stale rolls. No desserts offered either!! A five star resort that gave us nightmares. So after non stop complaining to management and constant contact with Dan at Flight Centre and Kathy and Beachcomber SA we were offered a 5% discount should we visit another Beachcomber Resort in Mauritius. After 100's of thousands of rands spent they insulted us with this discount. May i say that Paradis which we stayed at first was ad exceptional experience. Please rather do your booking through Booking.com and get a further discounted price than deal with Beachcomber SA or Flight Centre for that matter. Vent over!!

How disappointing. 2nd time @ a Beachcomber Resort in Mauritius. Dinarobin, you let us down 100%. We are vegan, and made it known on the bookings.com platform. Ended up purchasing takeaways from a local Indian Resturant instead, as little/no attention was paid to our dietary requirements.

I would like to hold BeachCombers and Flight Centre jointly responsible for this shoddy service. More so Beach combers as they pass info on Context: we booked for 3 x Tickets (October 21) for Mauritius flying out on the 19th January 2022 We know that Mauritius went into lockdown and the re-oponed 2 weeks ago The date today is the 13 Jan , we supposedly fly /Not fly on the 26th It has taken almost a week with no outcome as yet as to whether we are flying or not, As you can imagine this is causing a HUUUUUUUUGE amount of stress as there are 4 days until we fly, with no resolution The choices we has were as follows: SAA to swop the flights to Air Mauritius Or 2: refund the 3 SAA flights at a cost of R 10 000 each ie, R 30 000. (Only to be refunded aftrer 90 days) Was ok to do this And then re issue each ticket at a cost of R 9 492 each, ieR 28 000. I have this in writing for the Flight Centre Agent. I would need to outlay R 28 000 again I have now received a mail saying that I would need to pay in R 8 000. ????? How can that be when I was quoted a particular price with no pay in, Rather when you offss the refund and 2nd payment I would score about R 1 000. Not have to pay in R 8 000 Flight Centre have now come back and they have said that they have found a Cheaper flight at R 9 665. Each what also ****es me off is that when I asked Flight Centre to see if they would consider given a discount or pensioners discount they categorically said no. We in essence lose a day with with flying a later flight and leaving eraleir on last day, against the original booking So this now becomes a 6 day versus 7 day holiday The request to Beachcomber was to the quote for an additional day R 7 200 for 2 rooms for the additional day. My discount question was in light of this background I have used both Baechcomber and Flight Centre for a previous trip 2 years ago. However this case has shown me that they are not great when it comes to non standard unusual circumstances. Disappointed, wont use Beachcomber again

Been to Beachcomber Victoria recently and had the worst time ever. Since returning to South Africa I wish I saved just a bit more money to have rather spend it at another resort. Imagine eating bland omelettes or pancakes that taste like rubber even if it is freshly made. Do something about the flies at the food stations. The staff behind the ice cream counter could almost not speak a word of english. Another employee at the paddle boats literally did not understand anything and used sign language to point out that I need to grab a paddle , then afterwards saying nothing only showed towards the markers where to paddle . Ridiculous. Beachcomber should get their act together, language screen your employees and get them happy pills or something. It seem that all staff where unhappy, The porters , the towel change station employees, The motorized boat staff. The Restaurant staff. My word I am not there to motivate your people to be friendly. If anyone reads this please do not get your expectation to high for Victoria, it was disappointing and what is up with your wifi, My room didn't even have the ability to connect? This review will also probably be met with Beachcombers automated response of " We are so sorry you didn't have a good time, they are always trying to improve etc." But not to worry I will never visit any of your resorts again. My review might only be a drop in your bucket so reply or not , just know I had the worst time ever.

We booked a holiday for the whole family with Beachcomber. There are 12 of us, which includes a 2 month old infant.
We requested a car seat for the transport from the airport to the resort and the answer from Beachcomber was \Well it is not a law in Mauritius so the vehicles do not have car seats\".
Basically whatbtheybarevsaying is that they are really not concerned about their clients safety.!!!!

We have travelled to many places not with Beachcomber with our grandson who is now 4 and have never had a problem when re questing a car seat for the kids!!!
Shocking,. I wonder if they would accept this if the shoe was on the other foot.
"
