The poorest service I have received in years, I paid upfront for a clutch and flywheel to be replaced, four days later I have to follow up and hear the part was not even ordered. No one wants to give me the number of the manager and I am still waiting for feedback. I find this shocking and will forward my email to the parent group Stellantis as well

I purchased a brand new Citroen C3 Aircross 2025 model in October 2025 @ Citroen Westvaal. Now, In December 2025 the car was already showing signs of being defective, the brakes were making weird sounds like they were old, raddles coming from the driver’s side & somewhere on the dashboard, their smash & grab was already coming off, the boot was misaligned as if the car was in accident. The rear view camera is very blurry & the car horn isn’t functioning properly. Was also quoted & charged a towbar for R6500 & later got informed by both the Service Manager & Principal manager that Citroen doesn’t build towbars for my vehicle, thus was adviced by them to go look for a registered towbar company to do one for me which they’ll pay, but I should know that all that will now affect my warranty should anything go wrong as it wasn’t fitted by them. The vehicle was booked twice in January 2026 to fix all those & they couldn’t get it right, in February the Service Manager for the 3rd time booked the vehicle for almost 2 months while I was driving their courtesy car & promised to assign a special technician for my car, to date the problem still persist. Instead it came back with more problems & now the front headlights is even misaligned, the car is starting to shake once I’m driving 155km/h & above. I raised my issue with them ( Citroen Westvaal)& Stallantis, told them I no longer want the vehicle & to date I’m being taken from pillar to post regarding the issue. They still insist it should be fixed when they had the vehicle for almost two months & they couldn’t get it right. They’re failing to accept & taking full accountability that they sold me a dream & their so called brand new vehicle is defective . I’ve never enjoyed the car since I bought it as it started giving me problems from as early as less than 3 months & my rights are being violated as no one @Citroen Westvaal is willing to give me the help I deserve as customer who bought a brand new vehicle. Now if you wanna go purchase a brand new vehicle @ Citroen Westvaal, goodluck as I’m still fighting a never ending battle cause of their so called brand new vehicle that has been fixed 3 times already. A car that’s not even 5 months old & now for the 4th time I’ve received another email telling me I should still bring it so they can fix it Instead of changing it. Customers are being violated @ Citroen Westvaal

Most unreliable, unsafe, falsely advertised and marketed bakkie ive ever bough: 3 companies involved here, thus will write this review to all 3: namely Westvaal Motor Group Rustenburg, Stellantis, Peugeot George. I Purchased on 29 Aug 2025 through dealership financing a brand new facelift Peugeot Landtrek AT 4x4 double cab from this dealership in Rustenburg. VIN:VR3FDAHDYS3025854; Engine: 55Z0000277 From 2500km we have encountered MULTIPLE breakdowns and issues on this vehicle for which i will provide the lists of emails, what's ups, telephone calls between myself, Adriaan (after sales George), Innocent and his supervisors at STELLANTIS(warranty division) and Hannes (salesman) Jannie Stroh(Dealer Principle) from Westvaal Rustenburg I reside in George Western Cape thus take my vehicle to Peugeot George for assistance. Adriaan is the ONLY person trying to assist with this matter but believe he is NOT getting the support from Peugeot SA, Westvaal, Stellantis. Here are the shocking issues with the vehicle: 1)Total rear suspension failure- cant load more than 300kg then knocks through, thus not as per dealer spec sheet 1020kg-1050kg. This renders this vehicle TOTALLY ineffective and inadequate to use on the farm for which i purchased it. Vehicle totally unstable on road, especially gravel roads, vehicle drifts and feels like its going to overturn. 2) rear shock failure 3)front suspension failure knocking through- new issue 4)tail gate latch faulty, cant open or close 5)total electronic shutdown and failure while driving- 3 times now 6)fuel range incorrect calibration and display, vehicle cuts out between 100km and 83km left on display. 2 incidents of my wife and children stranded next to road side. required to call out breakdown services to jumpstart vehicle and reset engine light display. 7)poor braking capability, seems to be same in rest of fleet 8)center display flashing and flickering or dies while driving 9)driver side wiper not removing water off windshield 10)keys and locking issues initially I work outside of SA thus purchased a brand new vehicle to ensure peace of mind, reliability and functionality with my family. This is not the case, as all three these companies have accepted in their poor attempt, delay tactics, negating from responsibilities, put my family in grave danger, discomfort, stranded alongside the road (wife and daughters-THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE). The vehicle totally cutting out in the Outeniqua mountain pass- TOTALLY UNACCEPTALBE. I refuse to accept the liability place on us as the customer. I have requested multiple times for Peugeot to please refund me my money, settle the financing and take the vehicle back into their stock whereby they have time to fix it and not constantly place this inconvenience on me. The excuse is they must first see if its not fixable before making that decision but have NOT ONCE provided me with any alternative vehicle to continue with my business every time there is an issue and tests or repairs must be done. This i have been requesting all along with empty promises and excuses not to take back this DUD they force me to use it as I'm destitute without a vehicle required daily. This is another delay tactic to allow the vehicle to run past the demo kilometers of 12500km then they cant just take it back onto floor. To this day i have NOT received a report on the condition of the repairs, the ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS conducted for these factory faults and how they will be fixed and prevented to happen again. I am utterly fed-up with the support and quality of this brand Peugeot and implore all forums and platforms within the motor vehicle industry, social media, news to make use of this factual evidence to think wisely before every considering purchasing endless problems and putting their own and other families on the roads in danger. I always ask the other persons to put themselves in my shoes and what would they accept and tolerate. My aim here is only to return the defective vehicle, get a refund and move on with my journey with a reliable working vehicle. This has been a ongoing request for 6 months now. Another delay tactic to exceed the return period if one is not satisfied with the finance or sale agreement. Welcome to call me to discuss and interview me on facts. 0828265400 Regards Quinton Chuter

Excellent service received from the team, especially Robert Mphahlele. I arrived as a walk-in client without an appointment, but Robert handled the situation with professionalism, efficiency, and a positive attitude. He made it possible for me to get a same-day booking and ensured my car was serviced without any hassle. The level of customer care, clear communication, and willingness to assist truly stood out. This is service excellence at its best. Big up to the Westvaal Limpopo Service Centre team for going above and beyond! 👏🚗✨

Westvaal Volkswagen Mbombela. 5 November 2025, I took my Amarok for its 240000km services. I requested the V-belt tensioner to be inspected as it was making a noise. During the service, a timing-belt kit was installed, as well as a new V-belt and a V-belt tensioner. Total cost of service = R20 112.78. During a visit to the KNP, driving with open windows, I heard a strange noise from the engine. On inspection the tensioner pulley was found to vibrate a lot. I send a video of this vibration to the service dealer but no definite solution was offered. 21 November2025, after arrangements with Amanda, I took the vehicle back for inspection. Samantha and Stephan assisted me on the day. The tensioner pulley was again replaced at no cost to me. On inspection, the tensioner was still vibrating, and the strange noise was still there. It was said to me that there is no cer*****y if the tensioner should vibrate or be stable. No other 2.0tdi Amarok was on the floor to compare with. As the workshop manager was not at work on this day, I was told that I will be contacted on Monday, 1 December with an answer on the vibrating tensioner. The next communication between Westvaal Volkswagen and myself will be this letter, 66 days later. Not getting response/service from Westvaal Volkswagen, I asked social media for assistance. An immediate answer from a person from VAG Spec Group was to replace the Alternator pulley. I don’t know the details, but this is a “clutch-pulley”. According to him this alternator pulley failing was the cause for the tensioner to be damaged. 17 January 2026 I took my vehicle to VAG Menlyn. The alternator pulley was replaced and my vehicle is as new, no vibration, no strange noise, running like an Amarok should. Cost for alternator replacement = R2 408.19. 26 January 2026 I send above email to Westvaal Volkswagen for Workshop Manager and Sales Executive's attention. No reply 4 February 2026 WhatsApp message to Sales Executive. Speedy reply confirms receiving mail and discussing with Workshop Manager. No reply from WShop Manager. 12 February 2026 Again confirms issue was brought under WShop Manager’s attention and to expect a phone call. No reply from WShop Manager. I've had dealings with this institution since 2011. Never did I experience any problems with 2 vehicles been serviced by them . Only change I know was Westvaal taking over from Alan Hudson Volkswagen. I really don't trust this institution to service any of my vehicles in the future. The service I received from Amanda (Sales Executive) and Samatha (Service Consultant), was exceptional. I sallute you.

on the 31st od January 2026 i took my peugeot 2017 3008 to Westvaal Mbombela. I am from Lydenburg Mpumalanga and they don't service Peugeot cars so I had to drive to Mbombela in the morning and I have arrived there at 07h25. i was number 5 on line because they are closing at 12h00 and that was worrisome and the car there were no old things that they replaced nor new boxes of new things to show that they have repaired like other dealerships. When i arrived there the service advisor asked me questions and i told him that i only want a full service on my car and it is a cash payment and he told me that they will call me with the final amount. Hardly an hour they call with the amount and i agreed with the amount. Half past 11 they called and said they were done. i then went there to pick up the car. when i took the car the spanner light and the engine light were on and the car was shaking . i reversed and told them that the is not the way i left it the technician told me i must come back next week friday to do a full diagnosis and i asked why friday he said they are fully booked and he changed to tuesday. i then drove out and still the car was shaking . i then left my car at my aunts place because the condition was very bad and there was water on the engine and i thought they didn't blow out all the water out. Monday i went there to formaly report the incident and about the condition of the car , i was told to bring the car in they will check what was wrong. Monday passed they didn't say anything, tuesday came again nothing and Wednesday i decide to go to Nelspruit to find out what's happening and they told me that the still need to check it out. i told them how i am spending unnecessary monies to come to nelspruit for sweet nothing. the sad part is that they didn't give me a full service report or any service check list up until today. They don't have any answers for my disputes all they tell me they will give a quotation of what is broken on the car and i went to the dealership and my car was in a perfect condition. Please someone out there please help me in resolving this matter.

He was knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything went smoothly. The overall service was professional, efficient, and truly customer-focused. Well done to the whole team—keep up the great work!
