Vovo Telo Amazing service by Angel and Good food
We had an awesome experience with a very welcoming waitress Angel , the food was fresh and very tasty , they had on some soft good music . Will definitely be returning for more 🤩.

Eaten olive 🫒 pit in my chicken burger 🍔
Hi My family and I visited Vovotelo at the V and A Waterfront. We are from Johannesburg, so having a delicious treat from Vovotelo was perfect. This was also my aunts first visit to CT. We ordered plain cheese pizza 🍕, trout sandwich 🥪 on sourdough bread, chicken burger 🍔 and one more side of chips wedges. We were enjoying the meal when I suddenly bit into an olive pit. I notified our waiter who then took it to the chef and the manager came to apologize as well. He wavered the bill. However my filling broke and i then swallowed my filling. My concern now is do you reuse uneaten food like salads 🥗 which have olives in them for example in burgers 🍔 like the way I bit onto the olive pit. If so I ate something that came out from another person's mouth, which is so unhygienic and I actually want to vomit 🤢 everytime I think about it and does this happen with all food that goes back into the kitchen 🤔 My sister who had half my chicken burger 🍔 then landed at mediclinic vergelegen at 11pm. I have documents to support this and the doctor confirmed a case of gastro which then spread to whole family. She has since returned to Johannesburg and had to see a gastrologist. Another thing is we support Vovotelo in Hartebeesport as well, with alot of bikers that stop for Sunday breakfast there. My really heartfelt concern is what is happening in the kitchen, do you reuse food that is sent back. Yes my bill was wavered but what about my dental bills, my sister's clinic bills, her gastrologist bills. I am not asking for that money but I need to understand what is happening behind the seens. What would happen if word gets out about our experience 🤔 , I had to post this as I have had no response since 6 January 2026 Vovotelo is a good restaurant afterall. Thank you
