I purchased a freezer from Makro about a month ago, and the delivery was handled by Value Logistics. I was initially told delivery would take 2–3 days, but it ended up taking two full weeks, which was extremely disappointing. To make matters worse, the manager at Value Logistics refuses to speak directly with customers when requested.
Now I’ve had a similar issue with a recent TV purchase from Samsung’s online store. During checkout, I was given the option to choose a specific delivery date, and I selected 16 April 2026 because I made arrangements to be home. However, after following up with Value Logistics, I was informed that the delivery will only take place on the 21st. This directly contradicts the confirmed delivery date on my order.
It is unacceptable to offer customers the option to select a delivery date and then fail to honor it without proper communication. I even took time off work to accommodate this delivery, and now it is not happening as promised. This level of service is extremely disappointing, especially from a well-known brand like Samsung, and raises serious concerns about their choice of delivery partner.
Overall, the service has been appalling, and I would like a clear explanation as to why customers are being misled about delivery timelines.
