Non Reponsive and Local logictics handling cost more than shipping from New Zealand to SA
I have repeadely written to Thrutainers to explain costs for handling the logistics of 4 pallets (7.6 sq meters) which cost about R25k to ship as LCL from New Zealand to South Africa but R34k for Thrutainers to handle local offload, customes processing and delivery from the port in Cape Town to a local storage facility in Cape town. But I get no response.

I received a great service from thrutainers and their team, even though there were external problem such as the port and other delays beyond their control, the team took the time to communicate every small detail and ensured that my shipment reached it destination. If you have LCL shipments Thrutainers is one of the better options

MOST HORRENDOUS SERVICE IN SOUTH AFRICA - TERRIBLE!
This is the Worst Company to move anything with... What terrible service, lies and more lies. Incompetence beyond explanation. Even calls are avoided when having to solve issues. The story is the same with every shipment - A september export booking LCL only got delivered February. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF USING THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING

Thuetainers lost cargo and take no responsibility
Goods arrived by ship to Durban harbour and were handed to Thuetainers for them to transport the goods to Cape Town. There were 68 boxes. Only 67 arrived. No one at Thrutainers has any interest what so ever in finding out what has happened or has followed up, or bothered to find out where the box is and how it got lost. When you call the cape town phone number it routs you though to durban as the cape town phone is broken. No one in durban knows what goes on and no one calls back. They have not filed a police report so the box has not been reported as stolen, they have simply lost it. It has now been TWO WEEKS.
