Hi, i went to your restaurant on 14 Feb 2021 hoping to have an enjoyable dining experience however it was horrible. I initially ordered the Wings and then main course. Considering the wings were soo great, i ordered it again. Unfortunately after a long wait, it was brought to my table however it was burnt. I indicated that to the waiter and he put it down on the table and stated that its not and it will be ok. I thereafter tasted it and to my disappointment it infact had a burnt taste. I then called the waiter back and told him its definitely burnt. He took it back to the kitchen and after another long wait - he returned however the new set of wings did not look burnt but still had the burnt taste. I reported it to him again and was advised he will let the chef know to come out. After waiting for abit, we decided to leave as the chef never came out. I am disappointed and it spoilt what was meant to be a good valentines lunch.

I ordered the pulled pork wrap from The Green Peppercorn yesterday, upon tasting it, it didn't taste right. I asked a waiter and he said that it's fine and kept walking. Needless to say I have food poisoning today! Won't be going back with that kind of service or food for that matter.

Shout out to The Green Peppercorn for having an amazing variety and quality of food, really friendly waiters, a stunning atmosphere and for their unique rewards program that they run through their very own app. They're constantly running competitiobs on their Facebook page where you can win food vouchers; their app has a 'scratch card' tab where you can win things (I think it resets ever week or two) and they have a loyalty stamp tab on the app where you earn stamps for every R200 you spend and eventually you can redeem a R1000 food voucher. If the food and service isn't enough to keep you coming back the rewards definitely will be. Do yourself a favor and try them out :) Get the app today and try your luck with the scratch card - maybe your first meal will be on the house. I shared some food with a friend there, it tasted amazing, portions were very filling and the presentation was stunning. We ordered the chorizo and chicken arancini *****; the double dipped Korean fried chicken with lemon hollandaise and then chilli dusted squid. The total for these 3 items was R200 on the dot and I paid using a voucher - only paid extra for the tip and the drinks.

<p>Today right after 4pm i called in to make a booking for 7pm. The guy who answered the phone was so rude. Not only was he rude when taking down my reservation but he even hung up the phone on me. He lied when i called back again to ask him why he hung up .. He said it was my phone connection.</p> <p>I then asked him for hes name and he said he was Gorge , I asked for hes surname and he said out right refused to provide me whith it and even asked me "WHY?" . Never have i ever. I am appauled. If this is the service green peppercorn dishes out to its customers then count me out.</p> <p>Gorge is one selfcentred employee with bad phone eticate and no people skils.</p>

The Green peppercorn has been my favorite restaurant for a while.The waiters are kind and the service has always been good.The owner is not always there.I did notice his attitude before but ignored him.<br> <br> I went there last week Tuesday while I wait for traffic to go down.He asked me if I'm going to eat,I said no.There were tables available.He asked me if I'll be having drinks while he was leading me to a table.<br> I responded by saying that I might have a drink but prefer tea which I normally have there before I decide on what to have.He stopped looked at me and said 'sorry,we can't help you,try next door.'<br> <br> As I stood tgere still in disbelieve,he moved on to a white couple behind me and gave them a table.Ignored me till I left.<br> <br> I have been a loyal customer and did not expect such from an owner.Clearly he preferred having white people there instead of me as there were no black people seated at all.
