Outstanding service from The Athlete’s Foot! From checking available stock, calling me back exactly as promised, assisting with packing the product, and arranging delivery from Cape Town to Nigel in less than 24 hours, the experience was absolutely amazing. They truly went the extra mile to make my special person’s birthday extra special! Thank you for the excellent customer service, professionalism, and care. Do NOT buy from this shop ....They have no stock,although it says otherwise ...They contacted me, after I try to contact them , but they still have not refunded me .....poor service ....Will now open a case with my bank

I would strongly recommend thinking twice before ordering from Athlete’s Foot. I placed an order over 10 days ago and have had zero proper communication since. I’ve sent two emails and received no response. I eventually got hold of someone on WhatsApp, who casually mentioned that the shoes might not even be in stock. No one has officially confirmed this, and no one has processed a refund or explained what is going on. They are clearly advertising and selling stock they do not actually have, which is extremely misleading. In the meantime, I am left out of pocket with no product and no timeline for a refund. This is not just poor service, it is completely unacceptable. At the very least, you expect basic communication and transparency when something goes wrong. Avoid at all costs. I would not trust them with an online order again.

The Athletes Foot had a special and I ordered the last pair of shoes in my size . When my shoes arrived two days later there was a minor mishap in that I received a odd pair of shoes . Left size 7 and right size 10 . I was afraid that the error could not be rectified due to it being the last pair. I reported it to The Athletes Foot via whatsapp message and the sent an overnight courier to collect the odd pair. Within 3 days I had the correct pair of shoes I ordered without any hazzles. I was impressed !

The Athletes Foot had a special and I ordered the last pair of shoes in my size . When my shoes arrived two days later there was a minor mishap in that I received a odd pair of shoes . Fantastic buying experience! I ordered a pair of Solomon Speed Cross 6s this morning at 8am and they were deliverd by 2pm - delivery was FREE. Item was exactly as described and at R 600 less than any of the comparative offers.

Placed and paid for 2 pairs of ASICS on 22 February 2025 at 16:11. Received a missed call on 23 February 2025 at 10:57, and also received a WhatsApp on 23 February 2025 at 10:37, informing me that the one pair had already been sold in the store. I was asked if I would like to rather purchase a blue pair. I rep**** at 11:03, that the blue would not work as this did not match my club colours. I then phoned at 11:06, and spoke to a gentleman who said that he would send the one pair, and would refund the one, that was sold in the store. On 24 February 2025, I sent a WhatsApp at 12:42 requesting feedback on my refund, as I had managed to source a pair from another retailer. I received a voice note at 15:59 informing me that refunds take 7 to 14 working days. I queried this as the money was deducted immediately from my account via PayGate, and according to PayGate, the money is transferred immediately into the retailer’s account. On the Arhlete’s Foot website, the refund policy states that “some” refunds may take 7 to 10 days. Not ALL refunds. And nowhere does it say 7 to 14 WORKING days. Lastly, why is this shoe being advertised for sale on the website, if the shoe is sold out and no longer in stock? I have handed over all correspondence and info to my attorneys. Placed 2 orders at The Athlete’s Foot. Only 50% satisfied. Looking at all the negative reviews, I doubt I’ll be using this company again.

I need a very particular running shoe that is not easy to get hold of. The Athlete's Foot advertised and sold this very shoe through their online shop last week during the period of "Black Friday" specials. Well, it transpires that they never had the item in stock - a clear case of misleading advertising. After completing my purchase and payment, I missed and returned a call and was informed that the item was both unavailable and also had never been in stock in the first place :-o During the call, when I insisted that the onus is on them to source and supply the product they advertised and sold, their staff made inappropriate attempts to push unsuitable alternative shoes and also tried to convince me to come to the store to purchase "something else" instead of addressing the fundamental problem. Their handling of the situation showed a concerning lack of product knowledge and customer service skills. The timing of this incident has caused me significant inconvenience, as I missed out on other special offers during the period when I believed I had secured these shoes. Now, unless they come to the party and supply what they sold me, I face the hassle of having to source the shoes elsewhere and the cost of having to pay both premium prices and likely additional delivery fees too, as I will soon be travelling to a small town outside Cape Town. The company's failure to honor what they advertised and their subsequent handling of the situation falls well below acceptable business practices. Instead of taking responsibility for their error and finding a solution, they've offered only a refund, leaving me to bear the burden of their mistake. I strongly advise potential customers to be wary of making purchases from this retailer, as their online inventory appears unreliable and their customer service is inadequate when problems arise. They are in fact still today advertising the extra wide shoes of which I was told they do not have in stock!

I just want to say how extremely disappointed I am in this company. I experienced my transaction / order online really bad and unprofessional. I had to phone to understand why my order has not shipped in good time. I was told they sold me stock that they didn't have and are waiting for stock to come in. Then I received the order. I ordered 3 products and only one was received. The other 2 products were not what I ordered. I would expected an email or a phone call to ask: do I mind a substitute for the two products or do I want to cancel the order. BUT NOTHING!!! No communication!! I was just sent the wrong items to get rid of me!!! This was my first time supporting this business and the last.
