Hi Customer Support,
I wish to express my disappointment regarding a Bennett Read glass kettle that appears to be developing faults far earlier than expected.
I have been a strong supporter of Bennett Read products for many years and, until now, have never experienced issues with any of your appliances. In fact, after a very poor experience with a Russell Hobbs toaster over 15 years ago, which failed after its very first use, I made a conscious decision never to support that brand again. Since then, I have specifically chosen Bennett Read products because of their reliability and quality.
My previous Bennett Read kettle served me well for several years before finally packing in last month. As a precaution, I always keep a spare kettle available, and I started using the current kettle only after the previous one failed.
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed this morning to discover that the kettle’s illumination lights have stopped functioning correctly, with only the lights at the extreme ends still working. Please see the attached photographs.
While I unfortunately no longer have the original purchase receipt, it should be evident from the excellent condition of the kettle that it has not seen extensive use. There is no water scale residue at the bottom of the kettle, which clearly indicates relatively limited operational time.
Given my long-standing support for Bennett Read products and my previously positive experiences with your brand, I would appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed and whether any goodwill assistance or remedy can be offered.
