It appears that Premier primarily responds to customers through this platform. I previously contacted their customer care line via email but did not receive any response. My email included photographs of the packaging, which showed a dead moth and web-like strands inside the product.
A further concern is the lack of essential information printed on the packaging. I understand that details such as the production date, best-before date, and batch identification are typically required for consumer safety and traceability. In terms of the Consumer Protection Act and general food labelling standards, this information is important for transparency and accountability. The absence of this information makes it difficult to verify the product’s origin and raises concerns about quality control.
The lack of response, combined with insufficient packaging information, creates the impression that customer concerns are not being taken seriously. I would appreciate acknowledgement of this issue and a clear response from Premier.
It is also concerning that many complaints on this platform involve similar findings of insects—such as moths or worms—in flour or related products. While I cannot comment on those cases directly, it does raise concerns about possible issues in storage, handling, or quality control.
If these concerns are not addressed, I will consider escalating the matter to the National Consumer Commission, as well as the relevant health authorities, for guidance and possible further investigation.
