ROBBERY BY MEDICAL AID : SELFMED
This medical aid collects approximately R30 000,00 contributions per annum.
This is what they pay for the visit to the optometrist:
n eye test of R493.20
1 pair of generic lenses, and
Frame for the maximum of R500.00
OR
Contact lenses to the maximum of R900
If you really need spectacles .... please do not rely on Selfmed to pay it!

If the Scheme designed its benefit limits to meet the potential cost of all services, the monthly contribution will be significantly more and the option will become unaffordable. By selecting a option, you choose a set, pre-designed package of benefits
