Do not use Seeff!

I sold my property in Cape Town. The Seeff agent colluded with the buyer behind my back to take possession of my property without paying occupational rent.

The agent asked me I was willing to allow the new owners take possession of the property after signing the contract. I agreed to this term because I was planning to relocate for work soon. After signing the contract Seeff forced me to handover the keys and to vacate my own property even though I was still paying the property mortgage, property insurance and rates and taxes and the property had not been transferred to the new owners.

Seeff head office phoned me and told me according to the contact I signed I was legally obligated to hand over the property immediately without being compensated.

Awful experience. Please be aware.

This is ******** behavior and I will be seeking legal counsel.
