Smelly Boxed Wine

I am writing to report an issue with a 1L boxed red wine I purchased recently. Unfortunately, the product had a strong unpleasant odour resembling sewage and the taste was equally off-putting, making it undrinkable.

I regularly purchase boxed wine (often one or two boxes per week) and have never experienced this issue before, so this was very disappointing.

The box shows a fill date of 07/01/2026 and there is no expiry date indicated. I have retained the product in case you need to inspect it or arrange collection.

Given the circumstances, I would appreciate your feedback on how this matter will be addressed.
