Wouldn’t recommend them

The repairs done to my car? A local panel beater would have done a better job. The service was appalling! My car was taken in for repairs through my insurance after being involved in an accident, it came back with new damages sustained instead and the repair work is so amateur. Headlights were not fitted properly, there’s gang space between the bumper and the bonnet, my personal belongings were wiped out with no one to account.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! My mom sent in her car 4 weeks ago and every week they keep saying it will be done. The lady is rude as HELL! And kept ignoring our calls. She will definitely be reported. What a bunch of terrible and rude people.

Avoid this place at all costs

Avoid this place at all costs!! The level of incompetence from both Sibusiso & Nathaniel is honestly embarrassing. Basic communication seems completely beyond their capability, If you enjoy being ignored, misled, and treated like your time means nothing, then this is the perfect place for you. Calls ignored, promises not kept, and zero accountability when things go wrong. If you value your time, money, and sanity, take your car literally anywhere else. This business clearly has no respect for its customers and absolutely does not deserve your support.

I would not recommend Renew-It Rivonia to anyone.

took my car to Renew-It Rivonia for repairs on the 17th of December 2025. Before 22 January, I received a call from a lady (with a Sotho name) who informed me that she had been assigned my vehicle. On 12 January, she called and told me that the delay was due to the windscreen, which had developed a chip while they were disassembling the vehicle. She said they had submitted a query to my insurance. I questioned why my insurance should cover the damage, since the windscreen was chipped while the vehicle was in their premises. She said she would escalate the matter. Later, I received a call from a different person who introduced himself as Sibusiso and said he was now responsible for my vehicle because the previous consultant had “bailed out.” I asked him about the windscreen issue, and he advised that the insurance would handle it and that I should relax. Days passed without any feedback. I eventually called for an update and was told they were waiting for the insurance. I then contacted my insurance company directly, and they confirmed they had no knowledge of any windscreen issue. On 22 January, I received a notification stating: “Your vehicle is currently in the painting stage…”. This was positive news, as I was waiting for my vehicle. However, when I followed up with my insurance again regarding the windscreen, they forwarded me an email from [email protected] stating: “When the client collected, there were new cracks resulting from the existing chip on the windscreen. This can be due to the high temperatures in the spray booth; however, this is not covered by the branch due to the pre-existing chip on the windscreen.” This explanation was never properly investigated or communicated to me transparently. There are call records from both the initial consultant and Sibusiso indicating that they were aware of the windscreen issue before I was informed that the vehicle had moved to the second stage of the four-stage repair process, which is the painting department.. In addition to the windscreen issue, when I collected my vehicle, I discovered that: - My wheel spanner was missing. - My panic button, which is attached to my car key, was broken. - My steering wheel adjuster is still broken. - A sound coming from the front right wheel which i was informed it was not part of the initial claim Based on my experience, I would not recommend Renew-It Rivonia to anyone.

disappointed is an understatement.

if there was rate for zero rating, I would rate it zero stars. renew it Rivonia is the worst panel beater ever . they have no sense of urgency and poor customer service. their service representative are big on opening their mouths but with add no real value to the customer life. they will talk about process that they cant even live up to while the customer is suffering without their car. i am sick to my core at this point and I just want my car back . they have had my car since 15 Jan to date there had not been any material repairs or developments . the most they tell clients is that there are policies that needs to be followed ,those are ******* policies as they are not shared with customers while my property is in their possession I have a right to have site of those policies. its as if they fix a tiny scratch per day. we do not take our cars to a panel beater to act as accessories in their workshop but we do so for them to get fixed and back on the road asap. I am so disappointed in this. if your insurance ever wants to take your car there refuse..refuse refuse.

Vehicle Returned with New Damages and Missing Parts

I received my car back from an insurance claim after a month and a week. The panic button attached to the car key is broken and missing parts, my wheel spanner is missing, the steering wheel adjustment lever is broken, and the windscreen is cracked. None of these damaged components were related to the accident I had. I reported the issue with the windscreen but have still not received any assistance. I also have pictures showing that when we left the car at Renew-It Rivonia, the windscreen had no cracks. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received.

2 tone respray

Just received my wife car from insurance claim after a month The workmanship is the worst I have ever seen, colour does not match Only half of the car is repaired,one side full of scratches No blending in done on the undamaged panels I can do a better job in my garage Stay away
