The homage review
The homage building -100000/10 There’s been a power outage for nearly a week. Communication from management is severely poor. A chat bot is used, messages and queries are often left unanswered, the *********** people responsible for this communication then knock off at 5pm. There’s no building manager on site. The biometrics at the gate do not work most of the time. There are no security cameras except for the ones at the gates. There’s a complete disregard for residents and while power outages are out of their control, communication is still extremely poor and disappointing. HIRE AN ONSITE MANAGER AND STOP USING CHAT BOTS.

We sincerely apologise for the frustration and inconvenience caused by the ongoing power outage and the challenges you have experienced at the building.We are aware of the situation and understand the significant impact this has had on our residents. While the outage is due to a municipal infrastructure failure and is unfortunately outside of our direct control, we fully acknowledge that our communication and overall service during this time should have been better.Since the start of the outage, our team has been actively engaging with the municipality and relevant service providers, while also working on interim solutions, including the implementation of temporary backup power.We appreciate that this has not been resolved as quickly as expected, and we want to assure you that we are applying continuous pressure and exploring every possible option to restore services as soon as possible.Your concerns regarding communication, on-site presence, and security have been noted and are being taken seriously. Please note that the biometric access systems are checked on a daily basis and are confirmed to be in working order.We are also currently reviewing the concerns raised to improve the overall resident experience.We remain committed to resolving this matter and will continue to provide updates as progress is made.Kind regards,

Every single month the power is out for days and you fail dismally at communicating because your precious agents knock off after 5pm when you know we encounter issues like this around the clock. Stop giving us excuses from city power. I pay rent on time every month, I buy electricity. I deserve to use that electricity instead of receiving senseless excuses while my hard earned groceries rot in my fridge. Find a new electricity supplier and play your part. Sies man.

Unfortunately, there are no alternative electricity suppliers available to us, as the building is solely serviced by City Power. We remain dependent on their infrastructure and restoration timelines. Your WhatsApp communication is horrible and we should not be subjected to that bs!!! You don’t even provide accurate updates. I’ve had to join the city power channel myself because you lot want to be begged to do your jobs. Why did it take 7 DAYS for you to secure a semi functional generator? You’ve had countless outages, so much money coming in and you wait for such to put alternative systems into place. Your priorities are up your bum, what will people do with WiFi and lights only? Families have had their whole month of groceries SPOILT because of you. You then have the audacity to charge people to move out and not return deposits. I will be escalating this externally to be looked into. You take advantage of people.
