REFUND DUE BUT NOT FORTHCOMING
Dr. K Naik t/a Proscan (Practice #: ***) On 19/12/2-25 my wife had an in-hospital CT scan which Proscan insisted that we pay R8080.00 up front for as, according to them we no longer had funds for this procedure available from our Medical Aid. Proscan then submitted a bill to Bonitas, the bill was for just over R12.000.00, of which amount Bonitas paid them +- R9 000.00. Therefore, Proscan owes us money Despite numerous requests to Proscan we have not yet received our refund. We have asked them to please acknowledge our emails which they have not done. As SASSA pensioners we cannot afford to be without this amount of money. This lack of courtesy and disregard for what is rightfully ours is not acceptable in any way, shape or form.

Proscan radiology Rosebank overcharge to medical aids and not willing to refund and resolve or communicate once they get your money ! Beware
I went there for a Doppler scan and told the receptionist when making the appointment that I will pay cash and they gave me a rate. Firsty , I had to wait almost 1 hour before being taken in only to then find that the doctor radiologist was also informed late that I was there and he himself was not happy. A day later , I see my medical aid claim charged for just under 4k whereas the cash rate was 2450 which I expected to be billed for. When I queried, the messages weee avoiding the cash price and I stated it will be queried with medical aid and they should reverse the charge of the difference highe tariff or I’m happy to pay the 2450 and they reimburse the medical ****. It’s been well Over a week and the medical aid also not getting a positive response from them to get resolved. Beware when going to Proscan in Rosebank and ensure you ask the price upfront. It appears that some service providers are just too quick to claim from medical aid like an open cheque book! I am hopeful that the medical aid will get this resolved too and not allow such service providers to get away with things like this to patients. Proscan , do the right thing !

Excellent service at Proscan Radiology
This radiology facility in Umhlanga has a very warm and welcoming staff. The radiographer ( Kishen, I think) is excellent. He keeps the patient at ease, comforting and reassuring the patient at all times. I was amazed at the service we received.
