Chicken licken Keywest Mall has the worst staff ever. They always forget to put in items in the order. Today order 1088 (shift1) Therry I paid for sauces and got home to find they were not included in the order. Called twice and both times the call was cut. They were gossiping about customers when I collected the order today. How can they get anything right coz for them their focus is talking nonsense about customers instead of doing their jobs, acting like they are doing us a favour. Disgusting service
Had a horrible experience with a member is one of the Aqua classes at VA Krugersdorp, kept my composure and decided to approach the instructor of the class to have a word with the offending member. I would then be gaslit by the instructor firstly denying that said member could have behaved that way because she is a "nice person". She instructed me to forgive and started talking about jesus and forgiveness invalidating my entire experience. She even went as far as to tell me not to talk about this anymore or to anyone else because thats what the devil wants. On the same day I wrote to the gym and never received a response. On the 29.04.2025 I decided to send an email to [email protected] and received ref 116567 and still no response from anyone at Virgin Active National or Krugersdorp.
In April 2025, last month I bought the Adventurer Meerkat Premium Leather Back Pack with Kombi Straps bag and it was delivered promptly. The bag after short period of use started showing glue that was coming apart. I sent them an email with photos as proof and Patricia rep**** to tell me that they stitch and also put glue. I rep**** advising ger that the stitching is fine BUT the cheap glue that was used is now showing making the bag look messy. She has failed to respond since. Patricia am I supposed to put superglue on a new R2500 bag that I bought in good faith?
Ordered a heater on Sunday and that was the last I heard from them until I contacted them on Wednesday. Note order was to be delivered by Tuesday and nothing. Zero communication on the status of the order. Contacted them and gave order no, was promised a call back. 4 hours later Shihaam Marcus thought it was adequate feedback to call and tell me she cant get hold of the store on an overdue order and said she sent an email. All I could do was laugh in shock and horror. Thursday, still waiting on delivery.
I bought 24 of the 0.0 non-alcohol drinks after driving to 4 Pick 'n Pay liquor stores. The first six pack was okay so naturally I threw away my receipt. Problem is when I opened second six pack it had a horrible taste and smelled like vomit. Opened second bottle and same. I emailed distell on their customer "care" email address requesting that they collect that 6 pack and give me a fresh one. Never heard from them. This is not the first time O encounter rotten alcohol from distell. When I still drank alcohol this happened a lot with their Savannah drinks. Im suspecting that they are aware of the rotten drinks and dont care because for them its all about profit even when the customer loses out by throwing out the drinks. Hold on to your receipt as this wont be the last time they supply ROTTEN drinks.
I bought two headboards at Rochester Clearwater Mall and at first the only deliver one without informing me. Then when I query this I'm told that the second headboard is out of stock. Then I'm kept waiting with no updates until I go to the store in July. At this time Coricraft is running a special on their headboards so I go to the store for a refund. When I get there they reassure me that they are receiving stock for my headboard mid July for sure. On the 10.07.2020 I get a delivery message so now I'm thinking for sure they are delivering. Then it goes quiet again until I follow up yesterday. The lady just nonchalantly tells me they haven't received it and I must come get my refund. Like ***. So I tell her that I'm not going to do that instead I'm going to select another headboard. Goes quiet again and when I follow up with the manager they say they will deliver the headboard. Then the sales lady calls me to say I must pay an extra R800 for the one I chose. I'm like no you guys deliver the headboard and write the difference off since this whole thing is not my fault. I call the store for email address to escalate matter. I'm told the manager will call me back. I'm still waiting
I purchased a Samsung fridge from Makro online and on the advert it said that one receives R500 worth MRewards. I received the fridge on the 10.06.2019 and later checked the rewards on the app and there was nothing. On the 15.06.2019 I checked and nothing still so I called them. The lady then said she will check the promotion and escalate it to finance and call be back. I'm yet to hear from her.
Ordered a Smeg fridge from Makro but after reading reviews I had a change of heart and called Makro to cancel order. They did a refund but it was R90 short. I sent them an email and Lesego Modise replied on the 03.06.2019 that matter was escalated to finance. I called on the 13.06.2019 and was told I need to call finance because they hang replied yet, number provided did not work. I called to query the matter on Saturday 15.06.2019 and was told finance had still not replied which I reckon is insane. Makro must just say if they want to steal this money or refund it.
Ordered McDonalds meal from Maponya Mall via Uber eats and I received a disgusting burger with no sauce and their chips were cold. I had to throw it away. What a waste of money????
My car's engine light has been switching on regularly since November 2017 and has been to WH The Glen for almost all such incidents but one and every time they claim to have changed a certain part on the engine or car. The car was there about 2 weeks and on Thursday 10.05.2018 I was told the car is ready for collection, all is fixed and the car tested. On Tuesday the 15.05.2018 while driving home, car switched off mid traffic and when I start it again, there is the engine light ON AGAIN. I let Jethro Price and Laura know whats happening and initially Laura responds and talks about trading in the car and I'm like I don't have money for that. Next day I ask her whats going to happen with the car & silence. She & Jethro start ignoring me. At the insitence of GMSA's Themba working on my case I take the car back to WH The Glen. I speak to another service consultant and she checks for a job card using the tag still on the key & says nothing shows here. Nothing was actually done on the car, I just said to her I'm not surprised. Then Jethro shows up & invites me into his office only to spin me a kak story about there is nothing they can do and that they can only change whatever comes up during diagnosis, no apology NOTHING. Buying an Opel is definitely the worst decision so far. Opel has blocked my comments on their FB page since I started posting about comments about my issue.
