Fantastic service, right from the very beginning to the end! The quality of the Teacher Diaries is phenomenal and all the teachers were full of compliments about how amazing they are! I will definitely be ordering for our school again next year!
Ah Discovery! Once again I start my year having to write a complaint about your terrible administrative services. I filled in all the necessary documentation to have my daughter moved from my husband's plan to my plan. Everything was submitted buy alas you still cannot get it right. My daughter was supposed to be added to my health plan from today. What is it going to take for you to get it right the first time? This time last year we had an endless battle with you over a similar issue when I was supposed to be moved to my own plan, now I want to add my daughter and again you cannot accomplish this simple task. Please could someone with some grey matter between their ears contact me to sort this issue out ASAP! Once again Discovery has left me far from impressed!
What outstanding service!Help at Out came to my rescue when I had accidentally locked my car keys in my boot. They were fantastic, efficient and checked up on me the whole time to make sure I was safe and back in my vehicle. I would highly recommend Outsurance!
We have had nothing but terrible service from Sanlam Gap Cover. My daughter had her tonsils and adenoids removed on the 26th of April 2019. We had to wait 1 week for the hospital to do the recon of the account before we could get all the documentation required to submit our claim for the R3500 Co payment that we had to make at the hospital. We then submitted everything to Sanlam and asked them to let us know if everything was in order. This was the 7th of May. We heard absolutely nothing from Sanlam. We have phoned them everyday since to find out what the problem with the claim was. No one could help us as the system was offline but we were told that we were still within the 10 day turn around time. More threatening phone calls and still no assistance. My husband phoned again on the 30th of May and was told that the money would be in his account within 48 hours. To our absolute shock we received an email on the 31st of May to say that the claim had not been approved as they wanted proof that this was not a pre existing condition. Now excuse my ignorance but surely the mere fact of being born with tonsils and adenoids would make it pre existing as her tonsils have been there the entire time. She has never had any health problems relating to them. It seems as though Sanlam is digging for reasons not to pay this claim. What a sad excuse for a company with zero customer relations. They don't care about what their actual agreement is as long as they get their money. I will be sure to report this to the insurance ombudsman and the consumer protection act as they have failed to provide the service that was agreed upon. All my retirement and insurances are with them and I am already looking at moving all my funds to a company that is far more competent than Sanlam. You should be ashamed of your shocking service!
This is now my third complaint. I still have not received my young adult benefit card or the money that Discovery owes me! I was told in response to my complaint last week to wait 48 hours for a response. However, that was a week and a half ago! I feel as though Discovery are deliberately ignoring my complaints and not actually dealing with the problem. Perhaps I should phone other insurance companies and see what premiums they can offer me as I'm sure their service will be better at this stage. It's shocking, so quick to take premiums but so slow to pay back the money! (Pun intended).
My first complaint was on the 23rd of June. I still have not received my card and I'm now overdue of my payment again. Please see my first complaint for the first story as nothing has changed. Discovery owes me money again.
I joined Discovery Insure in March 2014, I am still yet to receive my young adult benefit card after 15 months. I receive an sms every time the card has my pay back deposited but am yet to receive the actual card! I have phoned every month for the last 8 months and am still aimlessly waiting after it has \apparently"been resent to me 3 times! My last call was 3 weeks ago and I was told to wait until the 20th so as to allow it the 8 weeks to get to me. 15 months and still no card and no answers. This 'card' has R2500 on it that is owed to me by Discovery. Perhaps if I start withholding my premium every month something might actually be done about my complaint! I am not happy"
