I bought a box of Astros for my 2 year old from the Clicks in Randburg Square only to find (halfway into the box) that the Astros have expired. I only got to know this because I tasted a few of them and noticed that they tasted differently to regular Astros. Why is Clicks selling expired chocolates, we're being exposed to so many problems just because they didn't check.
I bought groceries on the 28th of February and made a payment. When I checked on their website it said It's still awaiting payment. How when I've made it already. I sent through the proof of payment that very day and I'm still waiting for feedback from Makro. When I call the contact number they keep saying it's been escalated. I don't believe it has as there's no feedback. I bought food that I need to use so waiting for another week is absolutely ridiculous. Never buying from Makro again.
I bought an iron online on the. Upon arrival, I checked it and realised that it had scratches and cracks. I immediately took pictures and re-packed it in the same box it came in. This is an iron that costs R2000 by the way so I was extremely disappointed that it had cracks. I then logged a return/exchange on the 7th of February 2024, the Iron was collected on the 9th of February and then silence from boardmans. I have been following up and the only thing they keep saying is that it's with the supplier. It's been 20 days and I still don't have an iron. Never buying from Boardmans again, I can't buy an iron to use in the meantime so now what happens while they take their sweet time?
Boarding nightmare! I booked a ticket for my 4 year old and I to Umthatha for tonight. I was also meant to travel with my 6 month old as well. I get to Park station and there's so much chaos around the exit to access the bus. I'd like to state that during this time I've got a large suitcase, a baby and a 4 year old so getting around in a speed of light is not physically possible. I then make it to the other side of the terminal where we board only to be told that the bus is full and there are no seats remaining. How when I pre-booked? It's going for 7pm, I'm in Joburg CBD with 2 small kids and now I have to make another plan!!! Completely unacceptable! I've had to go home. I rush over to the ticket desk where I spoke to a lady (she told me her name but because of the drama surrounding us boarding I forgot it, she had braids and was helping people purchase tickets). I tell her what I was just told and she literally just shrugged and was so uninterested in the matter. Very disappointed! I want a refund for a service paid for but not received.
I changed jobs and so my payment date changed. I then called Multichoice to change the payment date. The lady I spoke to gave me an amount (R50) that I would need to pay (via debit order) that would be the pro-rata amount. One day I get disconnected, I call Multichoice and they say I haven't paid the pro -rata amount and also they can't reconnect because I don't have the 'grace' to be reconnected. Seriously? I was given false information by THEIR employee. If I was told that I need to make the pro rata payment that day to keep having their service then I would have done just that. Now I'm paying for someone else's mistake. I refuse to pay a reconnection fee plus anything more than the R50 I was told would be debited from my account. Such poor service from a large corporation. I'm utterly dissapointed!
I purchased a ticket from Johannesburg to IXopo for the 9th of January 2021, I then had an emergency that forced me to make changes to my travel plans and go a few days later. I called Greyhound offices to request that I make changes to the ticket I bought as I couldn't travel on that date. I was told by the consultant that you cannot make any change to a ticket 12 hours before departure. This information was not written on the ticket, it was also not mentioned when the ticket was bought so how does one know that there are changes to how Greyhound processes re-bookings. I have made changes to tickets in the past so I know that this was something you could do. I forfeited my ticket which shouldn't have been the case had I been told prior that these are the new rules. I need my refund, this is unacceptable!
I have been waiting for my package for over 2 weeks now. No one answers the phone so no way of tracking where it is and how far I'll have to wait to receive it. I'm never using this courier service ever again. What a joke!
I am beyond frustrated with the service I have been trying to cancel my contract for a week. What the heck is wrong with MTN!
I'm extremely unimpressed with Discovery Health. They always have issues. I sent a claim last week Thursday already and no one has gotten back to me on the progress of the claim. When I called, the consultant says an email was sent to me. No email was sent. How was I going to know that I have to resend it if no one communicated that to me. I hate how there's poor communication. Over promising, under delivering that's discovery for you.
Renault Service is a SCAM. They lie and pretend to service your vehicle when in fact they don't. Thank goodness I have someone who checked it after it came back. What the hell!!!!!! Such a disgrace. They just want your money for nothing.
