SCAM SCAM SCAM. STAY AWAY. THEY APPARENTLY SELL SOLAR EQUIPMENT AT LOW PRICE BUT ONCE YOU PAY. YOU NEVER GET HOLD OF THEM AGAIN.

How Fedhealth treats their 16 year loyal customers.
I have been a member (with 2 dependents) for 16 years but then left my employer where I received medical aid as an allowance (which means the medical aid membership would be terminated by default when leaving the company). I left my previous employer end of March 2020. So I decided to stay with FedHealth as a member but in my own capacity. However, I could not afford the current option/plan (FlexiFed4) and wanted to go onto FlexiFed3 Elect for financial reasons. So I contacted the scheme call center and they advised me that they only allow "downgrade" between Oct and Nov unless approved by management in special circumstances and having received a motivation from myself. I then sent my motivation to the scheme management for approval but received no feedback from them. After contacting the call center again, they indicated that my motivation was not approved and only offered me a temporary option change for 3 months due to COVID-19. (Which was not an option for me since I will eventually be paying the Flexifed4 premium after the 3 months which I simply cannot afford) After more than a month of going back and forth by simply trying to go onto FlexiFed3 Elect, I requested that they terminate my membership since it's a nightmare and they don't seem to understand. Up to now (12 May 2020), I have not been able to change my option and I have also not received any feedback regarding my termination. This is how Fedhealth treats their loyal customers. Pathetic bunch.
