order number : #1400067786 Daylight *******, *******, no accountability. I bought a reclining chair on 10 March 2026 for R5.999 delivery was on the agreed time. The chair doesn't close nicely and I went to Nelspruit Rochester to complain and they gave me email address, I emailed 3 times, no one responds. Rochester are ******, the physical shop and online service no accountability. They stole my R5,999, travel fee to the shop and emails being disregarded. I Daylight *******, *******, no accountability. My hard earned money you pick pocket because you are powerful, shame on you.
Day 9, my fibre line is down, I call every day religiously for follow up, All I get is attitude, even the team leader an Indian lady was annoyed on Friday 14 March 2025. The guys responding to this complaint, twice I was called, promise to follow up and revert and they disappear, I am convinced they are dead. Extreme nonsense of an organization, ***********, uncaring. I have been with Vodacom as contract holder for more than 20 years, come end of my contract.... I am out, useless organisation, they resolve nothing
Fibre line down since Sunday, Tuesday evening, line not fixed, no update nothing. I call daily I’m told to expect Metrofibre to call me, I follow up daily, nothing. Very disappointing, inefficient, unreliable nuisance service provider
Bought pants online order 15058 and was later informed that the pants have a defect, I changed order to a dress, R340 more expensive and I topped up as requested, few minutes later the dress that showed available was then unavailable. I requested a refund and only the initial amount was refunded on 5 April 2024. The R340 I added was not refunded, trice I called and no one is interested on refunding me. First, items showing available are not available. Now a refund is an issue, I spend money making calls. Service is beyond low.
On 24 July 2023 I called requesting my fibre line to be moved to new address and I was promised 7-14 days turnaround. Since then I called 3 times to follow up. No communication from your end, not even a confirmation text, email. In essence, Vodacom is a ****, not to be trusted. This month I will literally be paying for their own inefficiency.
Tracking No: Z30001268395, this company very nonsensical, my parcel was collected by them 29 Nov 2022. Form 1 Dec 2022, they send emails daily saying my order is out for delivery and later, oops we missed delivery. No answering of calls, whatsapp automated channel thoroughly useless, basically you are doomed waiting delivery from them. I am wondering if they are not crooks. if you know what is good for you, forget they exist, big scam.
House and home online shopping a scam. On 24 Sept 2022 I placed an order #1000073291 online and paid in full. When I ordered nothing said no stock available, after numerous follow up, i was told 7-10 working days lead time. After 10 days, I followed up and response was arrogant and insensitive, but they said stock received and I will be notified to collect. checked again 2 days ago and I'm ignored. Value of my order is small but I bought the iron because I need it. What if I had bought for a bigger amount to get such treatment. You are very unprofessional and are great at poor customer service. You have lost a customer and I have bought quite a few times from your shop in person. I will also be sure to share my experience of you with my circle. All because such a huge company swindled R279 from me.
Order no: 101263811 Order placed on 23 Jan 2022, 3 items, delivery 5-7 working days . 28 Jan, 5 full working days later, no stock on 1 item, expected delivery 8 Feb. I ask for the other 2 items delivery and I’m told I might incur delivery expenses for the split. I ask a refund and given a run around. The order has be fully paid for. So Takealot, why are u so unfair, worse thing is you don’t call, no phone number for queries, I rely on your mercy to email when it suits you. Fellow consumer, be warned, never pay before delivery and order today, you might get delivery before Easter. I’m disgusted, not just by the delay but poor communication and customer centricity.
Disrespect and Robbing off customer (Loyal) I upgraded my contract 3 months ago top up option. I've been getting sms about 3 gig bundle for additional R177 with option to opt out, tried to opt out and error message came in saying invalid code. Yesterday, my account was credited with 3 Gig and R177 added to my account. Called and explained i dont need it, never signed for it and i cant afford it. respense was they can only do so from next month and i must pay the additional amount. What level of roberry is this? Now ive switched off my mobile data from yesterday and i need to upload what i need and can afford and stupid vodacom is refusing me right of choice. I have had my contract, uninterrupted since 2002 and i get **** like this. 2 months ago had problem with cancellation of a line that they never implemented and billed me forever. Is it time to move to other providers? vodacom is just massive nuisance and unethical.
I had a data contract with vodacom which expired in Feb 2021. When contract expired, monthly amount increased to R350, i cancelled contract in March 2021, to date i am still billed for that line by Vodacom. Pure scam and i cant not pay because my voice contract is still active so they will terminate my number. You are just unethical crooks and thieves
