1st time ordering from this company and I'm very pleased. Order was placed on Wednesday, I selected the cash on delivery option and received the items on Saturday in perfect condition. Very professional courier. I've already placed the next order!
I have an ongoing, extremely frustrating issue with my Pathcare accounts submission to my medical aid. My fund's administrator, Medscheme, insists that Pathcare is showing the incorrect ICD10 code on their invoices. On the top of the invoice there is a table showing name, DOB, ref doctor, practice number, ICD10, med aid, med aid number - (in this table the correct code. C50.9, appears in the column headed "ICD10". However, below this "truncated" table is another table, with columns for service date, reference, ICD10, item code, alt item code. nappy code, test description, qty, total cost. The problem arises when in this table, under the column marked ICD10, Pathcare inserts code Z01.7, which, as one of their account supervisors in Cape town insisted, HAS to appear in that column because it's the code for "pathology". They are adamant they cannot create another column, and they cannot leave their Z01.7 code off the invoice., and that Medscheme must only look at the uppermost table. I have no clue how this problem is going to be solved, as Medscheme insists Pathcare amend their code, and Pathcare insists they won't/ can't show only one ICD10 code, ie C50.9 (which of course will solve the problem!!!) Surely Medscheme isn't the only administrator Pathcare is dealing with. How do they get their accounts paid at all if their account layout is creating such confusion. I've explained this to my medical aid - all info given to them in writing has fallen on deaf ears - they keep on telling me Pathcare has to quote the correct code EVERYWHERE on the invoice. I've had more than 30 emails spamming my inbox with this account being resubmitted and rejected. I'm in the middle of heavy chemotherapy and this makes me feel like I'm losing my mind as there seems to be no solution. Every two weeks I have to have another Pathcare test, and I dread it because I know every account will be creating the same disastrous error, and further flooding of my mailbox. I've spent hours on the phone to my medical aid on this issue. This has to stop. Is there any solution out there?
