No communication and or assistance from Mayfair Automatic Gearbox Centre in Johannesburg
Took my car in to be diagnosed last week, Thursday, 26 March 2026, at The Automatic Gearbox Center in Johannesburg. Till today, they have not done anything. When you call them, they say they will return your call, but never do. This must be the worst repair shop I have taken my car to; just to diagnose and give a quote takes more than 3 days without any updates. It's appalling, to say the least, about this center.

False Home Loan Decline feedback
Good day,<br> <br> I applied for a home loan and the lady whom was assisting with the application number 5063393 stated that standard bank will not finance me as the township I was a house from is high risk and then do not do loans for that location.<br> <br> 1. To start with why is the house advertised and the standard bank my roof websites<br> 2. The owner of the house is finance through standard bank<br> 3. There has been numerous standard bank evaluators evaluating the house.<br> 4. There is other people whom standard bank has sent to sign offer to purchase to the owner<br> <br> My view in this matter is that standard bank has connections/relationship with the agents or certain buyers that they want to sell the house to.<br> It has nothing to do with my credit score as I am a very good payer and my Trans Union score is 831 and Iv never been in arrears with the loan I had for 29 months with capital as I was building my score.<br> <br> Regards Sipho<br>

Damaged shock mounting
Hi,<br> <br> I took my car to the speedy at midrand last week Friday on the 27/03/2015 to fit in my new KYB shocks,<br> <br> the mechanic did not fit the well because he was rushing to go home and when i left the please i stared to hear noises on front right hand side of the wheel.<br> <br> i then took the car back on Tuesday the 30/03/2015 and the mechanic saw that he did not tighten the shock properly and he tightened it again.<br> <br> i left the premises and came back on the 01/04/2015 as the sound was still there but it was better than the last time, the sales person allocated a different mechanic to check then the mechanic stated that the shock mounting is damaged and i need a new one.<br> <br> i told the sales person then he said i must buy a new shock mounting and i stated that i will not buy it as the mounting was damaged due to improper fitting by their mechanic and the sales person (Jan)said they will also not buy the mounting .<br>
