This complaint relates to online shopping, where the assigned store was PnP Table Bay Mall. I tried PnP online grocery shopping for first time. Placed order yesterday at 3:30pm (ref#26551187). Delivery was scheduled for between 8 and 10am today. By 10am nothing was delivered. Several frustrating calls to the call center with no conclusion. Called the store on both their numbers numerous times, yet nobody answers the phone. Also emailed the manager. The call center could not provide an ETA. Goods were finally delivered at 11:20. It's clear that PnP can't compete with Checkers Sixty60, which I will go back to using, who are on time and the app even gives a driver ETA. To anyone reading this; if you are on a timeline and need your delivery as planned/booked, DO NOT use PnP.
On Sun 3rd July, I dropped off a pair of shoes to have the soles glued as they were coming loose. I was told is would be compete by Friday. I allowed an extra day, and went to collect on Sat 9th July. It was not ready - the chap advised the glue arrived late, but if I walked around the mall for 10min I could come back to collect. I said I would rather return the next day. Went back on Sunday 1th July... IT WAS STILL NOT READY. The woman on duty promised to follow-up and call me back Monday (today)..... guess what; I'm still waiting. Really terrible service and extremely poor service. They don't give a damn. I'd advise anyone, that they need to either use a different repair shop or try a different branch of Barksole, as N1 is pathetic.
As sent to them: (I reside Northern suburbs, Cape Town). Complaint – Bread going mouldy within 2 days. Your Low GI Seeded Brown Bread was my first choice of bread (very filling), which I ate for work lunch every day (4 slices). I’m not sure what changed, but for well over a year I’ve found that it develops white mould spots very quickly. For that reason, I switched to another brand which did not develop that problem. I do however still try your brand occasionally, about once every two months to see if perhaps your quality has improved – sadly not. I store it in the bread bin in the kitchen. It develops mould within 2 -3 days (yes, before the expiry date). I usually end up throwing about half the loaf away each time. Seems to be that it’s too moist, perhaps the retailers keep it in the fridge before placing on shelves. I’ve tried various shops such as SPAR, PnP etc – same problem. I’ve also tried your Low GI Wholewheat Brown Bread, which tends to last longer, but sometimes also goes mouldy – so I rather just purchase other brands to be safe. I thought to just bring this to your attention, in case you are unaware. Attached is a pic I took last week. I hope you can give me some insight to this problem.

Can’t recall the manager’s or waiter’s name (think he had only initials on his name tag).</font></p> <p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><font size="3" color="#000000" face="Calibri">In conclusion, terrible experience – we could have gotten a better meal in the food court. As stated, I realise we only ordered mere burgers and a drink, but if Dros can’t even get a burger right then there is no way I’d go there for a decent steak. Be warned that TIMBACORE wood WARPS.<br> <br> I had 2 outdoor solid gates/doors (1.9m x 0.8m) made by Timbacore Bellville. Sales process was very efficient. I was assured gates would not warp as it was treated pine and was told that even their wendy houses were made of it. I primed the gates, sealed the holes and gaps and gave it 2 coats of high quality outdoor paint before mounting. When the winter rain arrived, the gates warped and now don't even close. I complained via e-mail twice and sent pictures to Igmanuel, but no offer of any solution/compromise was received. Still waiting for a reply from the owner. <br> <br> So, my opinion is that if you want quality wood then go to a decent timber store - but not Timbacore. <br> <br>
