To begin with they don't even deserve 1 star. What a nightmare on top of a nightmare. NO BODY calls you from their claims department and yet when you call you wait for close to 30 minutes waiting to speak to somebody. My vehicle was caught in these floods that were happening a few weeks ago, I called, registered a claim, NO BODY from Absa ever called me to let me know that my claim hs been assigned to them. Had my vehicle towed after 3 days of phoning them to tell them daily that my vehicle has not been towed. A guy by the name of Sandy contacted me, told me that he will be assessing my vehicle. He said he call me in a day or two to give me an update. He done so, he is the only person that actually cared about my claim. A few days later I contacted the claims desk, had to ask about the progress of my claim, a guy by the name of Thabo told me my vehicle is written off, a manager was to call me on Monday, didn't receive a call. Tuesday I had to phone in..was told to send through my NATIS documents and Spare Key. I have done so. Today I will be calling them to check if they have received my documents. My vehicle was written off, but a debit order went off my account, these people don't check and they do not care. I've never submitted a claim in my entire years of driving but if the insurers all behaved like this, it's a shame for us clients. They customer service is poor and inhumane. They have no empathy at all!!! I will never ever insure with the again.
Simlindile at American Swiss Pavillion such a polite, patient kind lady. She had good product knowledge and she made sure that I got the right wedding ring. I wish to express my heart felt gratitude. She handled us with care and didn't rush us. She was very professional and respectful. I'm so glad that she was my sales lady cause she tripled checked if the ring I chose I was happy with. 31 days later after my wedding I still say I love my ring..because of her patience. I'm shocked to learn that S.P.C.C has not invested in the training of their STAFF and STORE MANAGEMENT. I bought clothes for my son on Thursday at their Gateway Branch using payjust now. The cashier didn't even know how to complete a sale using payjust now. The very same day, I returned the pool slides as they were small. Request for the refund, cashier didn't know how to do it. Again MANAGEMENT (Kwanele) had to assist him. Went back yesterday KWANELE said they had done it, it will reflect later in the day. Up to now its not done. I've become a DEBT COLLECTOR for my own money. Even the support department didn't even offer any further assistance but referred me to the branch yet they don't know what they are doing. I'm dissatisfied and disappointed with the manner that my refund is being handled.
Dear AK, Thank you for your prompt service and assistance. You always kept me on the loop and ensured that I knew what what was happening with my delivery. I appreciate the fact that you exceeded my expectations as a customer. Even when the delivery guys were running late, the first thing that you done was to contact me and assured me that they were coming to deliver on that day. It's very rare to find such customer service consultants who still have so much passion and enthusiasm towards their job. Especially during the festive holidays. Why am I being debited on a cancelled policy??On the 31st of July 2023. I woke up with a debit order transaction from my bank account from your institution amounting to R7234, and I have not authorized this and I have never spoken to anyone from ABSA Insurance to perform this transaction. The vehicle was written off and your institution settled his claim paid out to Absa vehicle finance. Why now am I being debited without being contacted and asked for permission? How do you debit someone on a canceled policy as there's no goods to insure?? Your department has committed ***** and has acted ********* and I will be Laying ******** charges against your institution!!!!
Good day, I'm so disappointed with your online service consultant by the name of Nolwazi (I stand to be corrected) together with your supervisor at Gateway Customer service desk. Imagine holding and waiting on the phone for more than 30 minutes to get hold on an agent to try and fix my problem. I tried to purchase some items online last week Sunday, using my woolies app, my gift card had R500 loaded. When I checked out and paid with my gift card it took the R500 but still prompted me to pay for the items yet the R500 was deducted from my gift card. Your supervisor at gateway could not sort that out for me...your 1st call centre agent hung up on me. I am disgusted and flabbergasted by this and for the fact that nobody knows what to do when your system does not work is disappointed taking into consideration that you're such a huge institution.
Cashier steals from customers and charges exorbitant amounts for Add Hope which goes into her own pocket. This lady by the name of Lulama, was rude and refused to to apologize for stealing my money. She disrespected her manager and doesn't deserve to be dealing with monies at all..
Avbob continues to deduct money from my employer without my permission!!! Since beginning of the year I've been cancelling these FRAUDULENT POLICIES and my money has not been refunded...I'm left with the task to phone in daily and ask for my money back and nothing...I've become a debt collector for my money cause of the AVBOB THIEVES...STEALING MONEY from me...I want NOTHING TO DO WITH AVBOB NOT TODAY, TOMORROW OR EVER... If y'all don't refund all my money by the end of the week y'all have another thing coming!!!
Avbob keeps on deducting money from my employer after I had said that I will never take out a policy with them. Every second month there's a new policy under my name and I have never ever met any AVBOB representative nor have I taken out any policy with them. A request for my refund is being ignored..one wonders as to how many times should 1 keep on calling them. I need my money back and I need you to stop taking out policies.
On the 1st of February 2021, I bought a vehicle from We Buy Cars a 2013 Jeep Compas , and this is not the first vehicle that I bought from We Buy cars. So based on my previous experience with buying cars from We buy cars, I drove the vehicle for four days then I decided to take the vehicle for a service. The gentleman who works at we Buy Cars a dvised me to take my vehicle to Platinum Auto in Glen Ashley. When I went to Platinum Auto they took the vehicle in, and they advised me that it will be ready the following day as they were going to do a major service on the vehicle. I said it was okay. I then fetched my car as per their instruction. I then drove off, as I was driving my sister noticed that there's a serious smell of oil. I told her maybe it was due to the fact that the car had just been serviced, as we continued to drive the heating gauge went up and the vehicle was overheating. I contacted Trevor at PLATINUM AUTO and told him that my car is overheating and it has never done that before. He told me to bring the vehicle back to them. I did so, after two days he calls me and tells that it's leaking and that We Buy Cars sold me a broken vehicle and I must take it up with them. They said they will order a new part and put in my car but it's going to cost me R21 000.He tried to pass the buck and I informed him that the vehicle had no problem before I brought it to them for a service. One of their employees then said, "when we were doing the service removed a plug that was used to block the oil spill because the previous owner had used something that wasn't supposed to be used on the vehicle" after he said that, they started arguing amongst themselves. Then TREVOR came out and said they will fix the vehicle but I will have to pay. When I asked why must I pay for something that your employees broke? He then went back and forth trying to pass the buck again. I then told him that I wanted to take matter further to his senior management but that was ignored and I was informed that he will be charging me storage,it's either I fix my vehicle with them or I come and collect it. PLATINUM AUTO is a crook and they want to take advantage of innocent people and exploit them.
