I bought a Bosch 10 kg Series 6 Washing Machine from Wakefords Home Store via Takealot. The washing machine arrived and there was a sticker on the outer plastic packaging stating it was a Series 6 model. However, once I opened it up, I discovered that it was actually a Series 4 model. I logged a return asking for a replacement machine as per the Series 6 model that was advertised and what I paid for. The machine was collected and I was immediately refunded saying that the supplier no longer has the Series 6 models in stock at the price they had it advertised for. I checked online and the company is actually still selling the model they claim not to have in stock. Why not just own up to the "mistake" and replace the machine? This feels like ***** and I can't help but wonder how many other customers who think they've paid for a series 6 model actually have a series 4 model. I don't easily write bad reviews but I was unable to post a review on Takealot and I feel like people should be aware.

I tried writing a review to warn other buyers to check their serial numbers but Takealot won't allow me to submit the review. Seems like ***** to me, otherwise why not just own up to the "mistake" and replace the machine? I won't purchase from Takealot again given how this was handled.
Chris from Pooltopia came to our house to do a quote...but we never received the quote. Not even after mailing him another 3 times. We were just ignored. That is no way to treat a client. If you don't want to do the job, it was totally in your right to decline. Don't make promises you don't intend to follow through on!! We found amazing contractors who did a terrific job and I am so grateful we didn't go with Pooltopia!
