I was under the impression that all shopping malls should provide free toilet facilities to shppers. The SITARI SHOPPING MALL, with tenants like Woolworths Foods, Checkers and Dischem, now requires shoppers to pay R3.00 before entering the facility. Not many people carries coins on them. Are they contravening municipal regulations? We two senior citicans have said farewell to this mall.
On 13 October 2025 I wrote a positive review on my experience with Capitec. I also made a comment/request about the possibility of an additional service as regards their credit card account. To my surprise I received a reply from Capitec treating my review as a complaint and allocating acase number, 05200813. Surprise, surprise. Three months later and no follow up by Capitec!!
I really like, and have experienced, the excellent services and products Capitec has on offer. One service I do miss is having a secondary user (my wife) on the credit card facility. Bring that on Capitec and you will have me as a 100% client with immediate effect.
In February 2023 I subscribed to a 50Mbps Uncapped MTN LTE package through Axxess DSL (Pty)Ltd. Everything worked 100% and the download speed was consistently between 44 to 49Mbps. The uncapped portion was in fact a 100gb as a I later discovered. I was then informed that as of 1st April 2025 there will be a price increase….”however, your current service will be upgraded to 75Mbps”. The promised upgrade to 75Mbps has however not materialised and my download speed is still as it was prior to 1st April 2025. I wrote an email to the support division of Axxess which was acknowledged with a reference number. I got a reply which resulted in nothing and rep**** on the same reference number. This was again acknowledged with a new reference number. The reply came from a different consultant and still no fix to my problem. The above was done five times, five nonsensical replies from five different consultants. I am currently shopping around for new supplier where I am sure support cannot be worse.
Capitec Bank seem to change their online banking app more often than necessary. Things that work are changed and consultants are of no use either. A remark I got from a consultant is..."the big bosses earning big money does not bank with Capitec so they do not have the frustrations of the their clients" Why is it that it is impossible to speak to these senior bosses?
In February 2023 I subscribed to a....."50Mbps Uncapped MTN LTE Combo".. service offered by Axxess. Service for the period to 20 December 2024 was without hassles. On the 20 December 2024 my download speed went down to less than 2MBPS. I contacted the support division and was informed that I exceded the monthly limit of 100 gigabyte. Never was I told or informed of any monthly limit. My latest invoice, attached, clearly states uncapped. The consultant could not assist this very unhappy customer.
I have a vodamail e-mail address for the last ten years and get between ten to twenty e-mails a day. Since Friday 19th April 2024 I get message that my password has expired. Never received notification of this. I contacted the call centre and was given a reference number (A3-2EFT-QTDTG), with a promise that a technician will call and assist. Today, 21 April 2024, I called the call centre again and was informed that the technicians clock out on Fridays an may attend to my problem before 24 April 2024. Rediculous and pathetic on Vodacom side. I pay for a service and I need same urgently. Why did the password expire without prior notification
Jolene was sufficient, to the point and very helpfull. Pleasure to be assisted by her.
Why am I forced to use a designated provider for my approved chronic medicine. As I am reaching for my 80th birthday it is not convenient to que at a Dischem branch. Apparently the Medical Scheme's regulating body allows this.
Is there a way to contact Afrhost to attend to a Fibre to home installation which was installed two weeks ago but is not giving the signal strengh which was subsribed for.
