Used to be great products that you could trust, now it's like a SA Temu. I bought a lamp and It was delivered this morning, I took the item out, to find that the glass screen is broken. I filled the return on the app no issues there . One of the requests is that I placed it in its original box . Well it seems that my item was/is not new as in the box i found someones used nail balm . What the hell. So to compete with Temu , Takealot has started selling second hand goods. How did a used nail balm container end up in my taped box containing my outside lantern. I tried to message on the app but there is no place to deal with issues like this and so I am just loggyit here so other users can see what takealot has become.
This is a special shout out to the metro fibre contractor who came through to sort out webafrica mistake. Danie , arrived early, was extremely professional and resolved in 30 minutes what webafrica could not do in 3 days. Awesome work. Thank you.
Webafrica switched off my line , as a oops because of lack and controls and processes. There is no management oversight so who knows what else is being done on our accounts. If an issue does arise, the processes then applies to the client but not the staff. There are no managers so don't bother trying to escalate, you have three options with webafrica, wait , however long for the issue to correct it self. Correct it yourself, move to another ISP. I am not paying for this.
We approached afrihost to sign up as potential client. What followed was a set of emails from afrihost that were responded to without any thought or actually having read what was asked for. I have asked to be contacted by a manager. I doubt it will be ready.

This is one of those companies that wonder why they are losing clients but delivers one of the worst sales experiences currently in South Africa. Was all excited to sign up to watch the Euro games with my son, but after an hour and a half of frustration with chat bots , online agents and unhelpful dashboard , it will be with a streaming company from overseas. Fix your onboarding process or you will lose many potential clients.
What a lemon of a car , I have had to take a car I bought August 2022 back 3 times within 5 months. And a few months after my service , the left side lights of my vehicle have stopped working. Of what use is the million kms worth if I have to keep filling in leave to get my car looked at. I will no longer get my car done at Alberton as they have had the car 4 times and is still get an issue.
Metro fibre had supplied us with a stable connection, for the last 2 years, despite numerous daily hours of loadshedding , we have relied on you to be provide stable fast connection. Very happy with your service for the last two years. Please bring on a gig line speed to our area, after many decades of adsl 10 meg speeds i want to hit a 1000/1000, just to play.
