OK Urban Glen Curve Edenvale - A Must Visit Grocery Store with more than you'd expect
The new OK Urban at Glen Curve has such a friendly staff, and the manager has trained his team to welcome and embrace each person that walks into the store as a long-lost friend and close family member. When walking the aisle in the grocery store, you can quickly identify specials, and most of what you need is available. The bakery is exceptional, and every weekend, there are fresh mini donuts, and if you arrive early enough, you can even get them fresh off the line. There are many specials from the on-site coffee shop, and each day there is a great deal on meals and coffee. A great experience!!!

GrubHouse - FAMILY and COMMUNITY, a place to linger longer.
The new Edenvale location for GrubHouse delivers what you would expect from the franchise: good food, well served. The location has been newly renovated, and the new anchor store, OK Foods, has brought a much-needed lease of life to the property. My wife and I would frequent the Glen Ballad GrubHouse at least once a month, and now that there is one in Edenvale, a stone's throw away from where we live. We'll definitely be there more frequently. Although the decor and ambiance is very different from the one at Glen Ballad the culture and ambiance is matched, and some of the team from Glen Ballad are serving at this location, remember us and are able to train up the new team well. We were seated, quickly, and our new key contact person Thando learned our names and has taken personal responsiblity to ensure that every visit from now on she will take care of our need. It shows that a team well equipped, and management with a heart to build with community brings people back time and again. My wife and I really enjoy being served by a team that treats us like we're part of the family. And this is what GrubHouse keeps on multiplying well at their various outlets.

Worst Delivery Experience - DO NOT USE WOOLWORTHS DELIVERY
Such a terrible experience using Woolworths Dash through the Woolworths App (supposedly "new & improved app"). I purchased some items for delivery using the app, and scheduled it (with the available options) to be delivered between 2 pm & 5 pm, Wednesday, 1 April 2026. The items were not delivered by 5 pm. I went out and, after running some personal errands, received a call from the delivery driver saying he had arrived to deliver at 17:45 (45 minutes after the scheduled time). I informed the driver of this and he said he would deliver 1st thing this morning Thurs 2 April 2026, apparently 1st thing in the morning is a few minutes before 10 am (which is when i received the delivery). The items were not packaged together, unlike many other delivery companies. All the items arrived, as i would have picked them up myself from the isles at a physical store, no bag at all. This is the worst service I've ever experienced for a delivery.
