my father passed on last week, I- as the beneficiary personally went to their offices to lodge a claim and submitted the documents asked of me which include a stamped bank statement and was promised payment within 2 days- we are now on business day 5 and I still have not been paid- apparently it is because my stamped bank statement does not have a stamp, the very purple stamp which stands out at the bottom of each page. I had to call and ask them to look at the bottom of the page and only then did the lights turn on in the house- as we speak I haven't been paid and the funeral is in 2 days
My father passed away a week ago, i put in my claim last Friday and despite their promise to pay within 24 hours, we are now 2 days from the funeral and this policy has not yet paid and their agents refuse to give any updates telephonically.
