my father passed on last week, I- as the beneficiary personally went to their offices to lodge a claim and submitted the documents asked of me which include a stamped bank statement and was promised payment within 2 days- we are now on business day 5 and I still have not been paid- apparently it is because my stamped bank statement does not have a stamp, the very purple stamp which stands out at the bottom of each page. I had to call and ask them to look at the bottom of the page and only then did the lights turn on in the house- as we speak I haven't been paid and the funeral is in 2 days

I called Emeral Life and was informed that they require an affidavit, a bank statement, and a copy of her ID to cancel the policy. We submitted these documents via WhatsApp, but we did not receive any acknowledgment of receipt. When my mom called today, she was told to wait 14 days for a callback. The worst funeral service ever I cancelled a policy with then a month ago. They deducted off my salary I have sent in all the requirements to get my refund back from these ppl they don't answer their phones they don't respond to emails or their WhatsApp number I called and after waiting on the life for 10 minutes the call cut this makes me wonder what PPL have to do when they have a claim for a funeral if this is the kind of service we are receiving really unfair service I want my refund
