I booked Kings Gate Hotel under group of King Palace Hotel through Agoda.com as it was only available under them on the 25th of April 2026 booking was confirmed and I was sent booking ID as confirmation. Upon my arrival at Kings Gate Hotel I was told by two gentlemen that I cannot get accommodation as they no longer work with Agoda, they even took them to court as they said. It was a shock as there was no warning when I was booking and how will I know as customer if you as Kings Gate Hotel do not protect me. They still refused to let me in and this whole thing dragged until 00.00 AM the following day the 26th. I then spoke to the manager/supervisor to the receptionists and she instructed them that they should not let me in unless I pay cash. This experience was so terrible I don't wanna lie. Kings Gate Hotel did not help me with anything or even protect me with as their client. I then spoke to Agoda.com for refund and they said they will speak to their booking partner, everytime I call they tell me they cannot refund me because their booking partner did not agree, I need my money back. I was treated badly by these companies especially Kings Gate Hotel as I am their client why am I suffering for their internal issues 😔 😢 😫
