Worst ever-maybe it’s a ****
This was the worst car rental I’ve ever experienced. I can’t rare them zero. - they supposed to meet you at arrivals- 12:00 not there - if no not there tell you to go to enquiries- 12:05 not there - at 12:15 a woman saunters up dosnt greet you and then tells you to wait as other customers are due to arrive - 12:20 fill out forms after doing them on line. - 12:25 others arrive we walk to parking garage - told to wait -12:35 I ask what’s happening -12:40 now get driven to offsite place -12:50 told to wait, ask where my car is so can put my luggage in - shown a dirty car, not washed, been used by staff, papers and empty bottles inside. - 13:00 (1hr ) told to fill out forms … again.. and to sign papers - 13:05 told sorry car is not filled with petrol, please go with “manager” to garage to fill car. -13:15 car getting filled and manager takes photos in low light place of dirty car for damage. I try to inspect but now rushing. - 13:25 manager get receipt and we can drive off, I drop him at pick up place - 13:30 after 1.5 hrs have got my car - car in bad condition 40k on clock - when I return car I wait 15min for person to check car - the car is dirty after it was cleaned at guesthouse but had to travel1.5 km on dirt road which covered the wet car with dust. - staff not friendly - signed car papers, not shown any so called damage to car - 2 weeks after returning car am told there was damage to car window sill - did not see any damage when returned - they deduct R 4000 approx from my deposit - asked for photo of damage. - manager asked some staff to deal with it - never hear any response. - 10days later deposit less so called damage refund into account I have hired cars for business and personal use for 50years. This is the worst. Suggest you pay the bit more and use the big SA car hire companies. This is an international company which does not meet the local car hire standards but relies on slightly cheaper prices.
