I am a paying member of Vacation Hub International (VHI) for 120 months, based on their explicit promise that a cash back would be paid after completion of the contract term. My claim was rejected because there was one month in which a debit order failed - mandate or administrative reason, and not because of a lack of available funds. The issue was corrected. Despite the fact that the full contract term was completed, payments were resumed and rectified and there was no material breach of contract, VHI is using this single incident to deny the entire benefit. After stating my case to them that I was not to blame for the one debit order that did not materialize, they responded by saying that the terms and conditions of the loyalty cash back was provided to me at the time of signing and that I signed and accepted these terms. Public platforms show that many other consumers have experienced the same issue, including the refusal of cash back, unreasonable requirements and technical justifications to avoid payment. This company is taking all its members for a ride. BEWARE.
