Me and my wife decided to take advantage of new rollout of home affairs rolled out to the banks selected to go and apply for her new smart Id card to move away from old green ID Book And then decided to go and visit Capitec bank branch in Sandton but when we realise there's a nearby branch in our area of Kempton park suburbs , we realize we can got to Birch Acres Mall one in Tembisa rather than Sandton one We got greeted with a friendly smile like the one of air hostess by lady called Tshepiso who directed us to kiosk number 09 after telling us the procedure needed to apply for smart Id on our way to kiosk number 09 our worst 'nightmare' was waiting for us ,few metres before we could approach the kiosk 09 we saw from a distance unfriendly face that made us to think maybe we went to the wrong kiosk or something The gentleman in the name of Dumisane was the one 'manning '' kiosk 09 and he made it clear from the word go that we where not welcomed in the kiosk he was assigned to assist my wife , his face said it all that he was not interested in assisting my wife ,he was unfriendly from start to finish and we had to leave without being helped and we vowed never to set our foot in that Capitec branch and decided my wife will try it in Sandton branch anyway Me being a frequent flyer most of the time in and out of the country , Capitec bank need to take a leaf out of the flying companies ,there's no way you'll find unfriendly air hostess or flight attendant
I have a reason why i gave them five star performance , I went there to renew my drivers license and it took me three full months to get it after they have send me an sms notification that i can go to collect it Even to do renewal it was smooth sailing and the gentlemen who are doing eye tests where helpful and user friendly all the time unlike other Dltc departments like Sandton dltc where i did my drivers license test and got given horrible test driving and as if that was not enough got given another horrible eye test again by unfriendly staff members
If there's no hope with fais ombudsman there's hope i got my full refund back
