I have been a client of wispernet for 7 years. During those years I have had issues but these were dealt with by polite helpful staff, although frustrating they went overboard to assist. In the last year the service has gone to hell in a hand basket, constant issues, hours on the phone explaining the problems, and little help. It took me more than a month to convince the technicians that there was an issue on their side when I could not access netflix, Microsoft store, booking.com, my banking app on their WiFi but everything worked when using data. I was repeatedly told I was wrong and there is nothing at fault on their side. Eventually someone clicked. To add to this issue the outages have become frequent and for long periods. As soon as the weather is overcast for a day then system goes down. On pointing this out I got spoken to like an idiot by their help desk agent who was rude and arrogant. The service seems to regularly go offline between 10-11 at night and is off until morning. This weekend, we have had outages from 10.30pm to 11.00am following day. Then again from 6 am to 12.30pm the following day. No access to their help desk as it is only manned sporadically on weekends and not after 7pm in the week. For this I pay R1000 a month to them and 3 to 4 hundred rand in data in, due to their failure to provide a stable service. I need to do this as my income is dependant on a secure connection. Shocking service recently and rude staff. I miss the really good guys who used to manage the support desk. Losing them is probably indicative of their shocking service.
